The restaurant is closed on Wednesday. There's no mention of this on their website or this listing. They don't provide code makers in the rooms. If o had known coffee in the mornings was not available, I would have never picked this hotel. Seriously, what king of hotel doesn't provide coffee for it's guests???? We won't be back because of this.

breakfast was good , friendly servers, location was convenient

bigger area around pool, seating was limited, pool was only open until 8p.m., room could of had a microwave and area to make coffee.

The rooms are a good size and clean, tended daily. The walkways were all kept clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The pool area is beautiful with tended gardens and waterfall, an oasis after a day of exploring. The location was close to everything ... beach, town square, "main street," and so on. Loved the coconut porridge at the restaurant. I would have rated the hotel a 10/10 ... until the management failed to deal with a group of inconsiderate guests.

The advertised complimentary coffee was a jar of instant coffee and "coffeemate" ... not what was expected and not consistently stocked well. In the restaurant it was not clear what was complimentary and what was not. Some days complimentary toast and jam were available, but not all days. Breakfast/coffee costs were inconsistent so that was confusing. Clarity around expectations could be much improved. The restaurant would do much better if they advertised among guests better and offered more moderate prices. Their volume of business would increase. Almost all of our stay was excellent. I would have left it at that, but when a group of 8 or 10 loud, smoking, beer drinking, guests arrived and played THEIR loud music the management should have made them respect other guests and not relied on the other guests to confront them. There ought to be clear rules ... no music at the pool. This is a public space in a confined area. Mexico does not allow smoking in public places so why is it allowed in a hotel? No smoking in the rooms ... but in the walkways and around the pool? Please! Let guests know what is permitted and not permitted beforehand.
