Het avondeten mocht wat meer zijn.
Een hamburger met frietjes, was letterlijk een vleesje hamburger met frietjes, geen broodje of groenten. Het was basic, maar wel lekker.

Personal freundlich, mehrsprachig. Frühstück (Buffet) war sehr ansprechend. Nahe an der Autobahn, abgeschlossener Parkplatz.
Zimmerausstattung nicht sehr modern. Im Bad leichte Schimmelbildung, Wasser in der Dusche läuft schlecht ab etc.

The room was just as in the pictures. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom too. The parking spot is good, you can use a private key to access the parking lot during the night. It might be far away from the city center but in our case it was not a problem.

Very nice family hotel, offering rooms with a balcony. Good location on your way to the south.
A coffee/thee facilities in the room would be welcome. Sometimes, when you have a long travel and want to leave very early, it would be nice to prepare a coffee in the room. More outdoor furniture would be welcome.

Secure parking for motorcycle
Female staff member in charge at breakfast was such a lovely, welcoming lady as was the young waitress on Friday night.
Older, female member of staff on duty when we arrived Friday was surly and quite rude. Behaved as if we didn’t exist. When we arrived at 7pm for start of dinner she indicated our table and then ignored us for next 20 mins whilst she dragged tables, chairs and pot plants around the Dining Room.
Hotel located next to very busy road so unable to walk into Figueres as we had planned. Taxi 15+ euros each way.
Tired building, compared to photographs on line, very shabby. Requiring a lot of TLC.
Menu was very mediocre. Do guests really want Pigs Trotters?
Cadre of Border Police billeted at Hotel; little disconcerting whilst sitting in Guest Lounge and they were receiving their pre-shift briefing. Armed.
Family - one young boy and one older youth playing football in Guest Lounge.
No guest bar. Could drink in Dining Room but no atmosphere, like Marie Celeste Sunday night, chose not to have Dinner rather than endure.

It was a little more Spanish than the chain type hotels, which we like. We had dinner and breakfast in a very nice and spacious dining room. Our choice of dinner was of good value, and there was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet.
The lady in reception gave us a lovely room with a terraced balcony as we had the dog with us.
There was also a very nice public lounge area with TV, library and board games.
Good secure parking available too.
We will return.

The reception was correct but not especially friendly. Dinner was correct but getting a drink was a little Fawlty Toweresque

It was clean, comfortable, good value for money. We were breaking up the journey from France, so it was just to have break on a long drive, we didn't visit any museums or places of interest. Garden and swimming pool area look amazing even though at this time of the year we couldn't take advantage of them, but will definitely come and stay should we travel in summer.
There were no other restaurants in the area, we were hoping to have a light low cost dinner.

Room needs upgrading. A lot of little things were broken (toilet rol holder, toilet seat). Distance to center as you need a car.

good organization, it’s possible to book last minute, many services were present in the structure, including an elevator. Pretty wide and clean room. Well equipped, especially the bathroom. No noise both from outside and from other rooms. Free parking

Breakfast was good with fresh orange juice available. The swimming pool and The air conditioning were great for refreshments.
The scan of the ID card when checking in. No problem to show but shouldn't be scanned and recorded (#GDPR). The bed was pretty hard which might be seen as positive for others.

We stayed for one night on our way down south and it was perfect. A very warm welcome/check-in by the amazing receptionist/owner (who speaks at least four or five languages, wow... Respect!) a nice and clean room and private parking. Dinner was available even tho we didn't book it before, which is a plus. Breakfast was perfect, there's even oat & coconut milk and vegan options available! The pool area is absolutely beautiful and we would definitely stop there again. Thank you!

The best thing about this hotel has to be the food. The breakfast & dinner were excellent in every way. The hotel is very efficiently run, spotlessly clean & has the bonus of its own swimming pool & free onsite parking.
The only thing to improve is a good clean of the pool however it’s current state didn’t put us off using it!
