Beautiful old home with great sitting rooms with fire places, amazing gardens and wildlife roaming. Athough there wasn't alot of variety on the menu, for my elderly parents, the food was very good.

Originally I booked thinking we had rooms in the house, however on arrival i realised we were located in domandables behind the house. The staff were hard to find at breakfast and/or when trying to get a drink, you need to ring a bell, I felt I was a hassle for them. Everything seemed very unorganised.

Good size room with large bed. Quiet country side location. Cosy common areas with log fires. Watching the wild rabbits hopping around - appropriate for the Easter weekend.

Buffet breakfast ran out of some dishes half way through the breakfast period and these weren't replenished, limiting what we could have. During out 2 night stay, our bed was made after the first night but our cups and glasses were left dirty and our bathroom towels were also left.

The one evening meal was a poor experience Service was extremely slow and some dishes not available and quality pretty average. The road into the manor was full of potholes and needed immediate attention.

There was a water main issue, but amazing plumber late on a Friday afternoon, well done to get the water back on so quickly.
