The Pool area is really amazing and the view is like no other

We had a room in the back and it was extremely loud at night due to road traffic we couldn’t sleep at all, the roof of the huts is only made of straw so all the noise comes in

The Staff were exceptional,friendly and helpful. The cleaning Staff were excellent. Buffet Breakfast was awesome.

We unfortunately had an open aired bathroom, we were told not to leave anything in the bathroom as the monkeys sometimes come over the wall in the bathroom and take your things. Also there was no TV, just a movie channel would have been good.

Suarga's location is exceptional. This hotel provides an experience that many other hotels in Bali cannot offer. The staff went out of their way to provide exception care and service during our stay. We can't wait to come back.

Bathroom lighting was a little too dim

Beautiful location walking distance to Padang Padang beach. Amazing pool overlooking the surf. Extremely comfortable beds with perfect cold AC. Attentive and kind staff.

The resort is a boutique eco resort, quiet and very chilled. The location is spectacular-you have the architecturally Interesting structures and interiors, a short walk to the beach or up the road to shops and little restaurants. Padang Padang is buzzing. The hotel laid back.

the room was very comfortable - the bed was delicious - Food served at the restaurant was good. Exceptional was the staff and the sunsets.

While the location of the hotel - cliffside and next door to beach access - was amazing, the area itself in Uluwatu/Padang Padang was very busy - plenty of traffic and sometimes you were able to hear the road traffic from the property.

The location was great for exploring Uluwatu and short 2 min walk to padang padang beach. The views from the hotel / infinity pool were just stunning. Great to watch all the surfers and sunset. The staff were incredibly courteous and happy to help with any enquires. They use whats app to communicate with guests. Food and drinks were great and we got a free room upgrade which was a nice treat. They also have cars so can easily take you to local restaurants/ beaches / Airport (for a fee) Dany was extremely helpful during our stay and even offered to help sort my onward ferry travel. There were quite a few solo travellers, so nice to meet new people. Guests ranged from groups, couples and families. Although not too many kids.

Although I appreciate the sustainability ethos of the hotel the bed air conditioning could be cooler, I did feel a little too warm in the evenings. There is no mirror in the actual room, so trying to do hair and make up in the outside bathroom was very uncomfortable. More lighting in the room would also be useful.

most! bec gor this price I expect more. thats there problem! the venue seems in first place good but as lots in bali properties, also something broken. the service is like 3stars. the worker are kind of untrained. a bit out of space. forgetting little things. no standards. btw its first time in my life yo write a bad review as I am not tooooo peaky at all. One of my friends took a extra room wanted to leave straight away but we stayed after the manager convinced is and we would not get back our money. me snd my friends have stayed in many many places and would be more happy pay less snd gave simpler service as what we hot there. I had the feeling JUST bec they gave a nice view it is so special BUT you find in bali mich better and more as this. they will get further bad reviews. i told the front desk I feel sorry gor them as all my friends we give bog tip usually but nothing from us…

food was not good. lacked flavour and character. very small portions and expensive. the rooms were dated - concepts imagined what’s seems over a couple of decades ago - needs improvement.

The position and the pool

The staff need to improve themself because they don’t always understand English and sometimes is difficult. The resort is not a 5 stars as it’s written on Booking.com, but it’s a 4 stars. In the room there is no body lotion and slippers because they are eco-friendly but there are other. things that are made by plastic.. so I don’t understand.. It’s written that the breakfast is included , but if you want to order something more or if you want order, example, a cappuccino , you need to pay .. so the breakfast is PARTIALLY included. The staff don’t always take care of the guests because we always waited too much for our sugar .. more than 15minutes.. normally the sugar for breakfast is always present on the table, but not in this hotel … We had discussion with other guests for the sun loungers and no one of the staff took action and the two ladies ( come from East of Europe or Russia ) were absolutely rude and arrogant, but no one took actions.. But the staff is very fast to collect the money of your drinks and food… and they don’t accept many international credit or debit cards , so it’s very difficult to pay or try to do it.. We had a nightmare on our last night when the guests ,over our room, made a lots of noise and they were very loud from 2:00am till 3:00am .. we sent many message on whatsapp to the reception but no one took actions .. only after 4 hours they texted us and they said “ sorry for the inconvenience “.. Other problem, there is no phone in the room to contact the reception ( because the hotel is eco-friendly ) and they use WhatsApp, but not always they answer you .. and if you have an emergency or a problem , as we did during the night , no one take care of you.

This hotel is really lovely — the rooms are beautifully designed and a nice size — the housekeeping team did a terrific job keeping the rooms clean and freshening towels etc as needed. The views are incredible and we loved that it’s a small hotel built with the environment in mind.

It rained a lot during the last 4 days of our stay and our Wantilan Suite began leaking. There was so much water leaking into the suite that we asked to move rooms. They moved us to another Wantilan Suite which ended up leaking even more water than our original suite. They didn’t solve the problem until after we had 3 nights of water pouring into our room which made it really difficult to sleep. They should have comped these night but all they did was apologise. The day we departed there was no one around to help us check out and bring the luggage from our rooms to the front area. I finally found someone to help me but it made for a frustrating and slightly panicked departure. These sorts of things could be avoided and/or dealt with in a better manner with a bit of staff training. Also, the restaurant needs a better chef — the food was very mediocre. We preferred the food at local cafes & restaurants.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been here 4 years ago and dreamed about it ever since. Super exclusive and excellent service, always taking care of the details and making sure we have a beautiful experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for you Guys!

We enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay here. I was super excited as in the photos the hotel looks incredible. The location and view is superb.

Unfortunately the hotel itself was feeling a little tired - all the decking around the pool was eroded and breaking off, the pool left your skin very itchy (maybe wrong balance of chemicals in there), the room decor also felt a little tired too.

Some of the staff members were very welcoming and helpful. The location is great too.

I had previously stayed in this hotel for 4 days in May 2019, and was looking forward to coming back only to see that the place had really let itself go since then. All of the cushions and towels by the pool are ripped and/or have holes in them, the pool was filthy too. It’s such a shame as we had such fantastic memories of being in this hotel in 2019.
