Well, it's a motel. It is exactly like any other average motel in Australia. Quite clean, check-in is quick and easy, you get what you pay for so to say. Location is good, just a 10 minute drive to the lake.

From a motel I expect two things - comfy sleep and good shower, everything else is an extra. Unfortunately, I got neither. Beds are OK, but pillows are very flat, almost like mats. Soundproofing is not excellent, which is kind of expected. Shower flow is bad and water temperature varies suddenly every 30 seconds. Overall, for the price I expected way better.

The aircon is ineffective at keeping the room warm despite being set at the max temp, however the plug-in fan heater worked well.

Facility is very old. Towels were dark and cold, sheets were old.

We were staying for just one night and found the room very spacious and comfortable. Reverse cycle air conditioner for warmth was great. Bed very comfortable. Three things that always get a tick from me - face washer; tissues; shower cap - were all supplied.
