bed/mattress not comfortable enough the room and bathroom are too small the ceiling too low

Really nice and pittoresque area, with lots of beautiful houses to see. The hotel itself was amazingly beautiful, and it felt like they really wanted the history of the town be left in the atmosphere and texture of the Hotel. The room was very comfy, and the bathroom was renovated and clean. Came by motorcycle and the staff let me park in their yard over night. To bad I stayed for just 1 night and had to leave early, otherwise I would've wanted to explore this neighborhood.

The alternatives at breakfast wasn't that much, for what it cost. It was "ok" but lacking fruits and other alternatives and variations. The dinner wasn't that impressive aswell. Ordered a Cordon-Blue for over 32€ and it didn't even taste anything...It sounded lovely on the menu, but lacked seasoning. What I've discovered here in Germany, is that chefs are affraid to season their food. Nothing more of what I "didn't like" expept that it was a little bit too expensive for what it was. But the location could be "why". :)

parking on street with max 2 hrs, so need to park outside old city center

ROOM, POSITION, AMBIENCE

Good breakfast and evening meal and complimentary water in the room.

Very low beams in room a bit awkward for tall people. Room under the roof potentially too hot in warm weather.

the old nice buildung with excellent breakfast and with nice persons . To order the dinner from the hotel in the near beer-garden was a wonderful idea. we will come back, if we are travel from Austria to Berlin.

We arrived on Thursday and apparently the restaurant is closed then for evening meals; so we had to go to another village.
