Staff member arrived late for check-in, had very poor english and was impolite. Staff was not present, and was very difficult to reach by phone to pay the taxes and leave the key to check out. The building was spooky, next to a busy road and had a strong smell of a detergent. Just an expensive disappointment! Luckily could stay at friends, and did not have to sleep a single night in this guesthouse!

Everything was perfect, not so far from most attractions by foot, bus station nearby, free parking space, the room was nice and clean, kitchen with all facilities and free coffee, quiet area, perfect host. Best place for the price!

The owners are friendly and nice. And the location is nice. We were walking from Kis Gellert Guesthouse to the Buda Castle about 20 minutes.

THE location was quiet, easy to get to and altogether a relaxing house

Location in Buda, close to a bus and tram station. After you learn how to use the local public transport , you'll get around easily, both in Buda or in Pest District.The house is big, with many rental rooms and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Parking is possible on the property and is free. In the basement there is a nice place to cook and eat, with lots of cooking utensils and two big tables. Our room was on the second floor, rather small for three persons, we had a good wifi signal, a small fridge and air conditioning. Very kind and friendly host, such a relief to find someone speaking English in Hungary. We thank him a lot as he was very helpful and patient and explained to us very clearly how to move around and find places while in Budapest. There is a shopping mall quite close if you need one.

The room and the bathroom were clean, nevertheless the room looks a bit neglected, in many places the curtains fell off their fixtures and are hanging messily. The windows are very high I guess it's not easy fixing them constantly. Old style bathroom (which is not a problem for us) but the water tank's chain broke at every single flush and we had to fix it all the time and the shower drain was partially clogged so water drained very slowly. Some small inexpensive repair like fixing the curtains could increase a lot the rating.

The hotel is in a good location, close to a tram stop into the center of the city. It is a quiet, residential neighborhood. The room was in a beautiful old building and decorated in period style. The hotel has a shared kitchen on the ground floor, which we used to prepare a few meals during our stay. The receptionist (Adam) was very friendly and helpful.

Four of us (two adults, two kids) shared one room. Because it was the height of summer, it was a bit too hot to have four people share a quite small room.

The guesthouse is really well located, just a short bus trip from Central Budapest. What's more, it's on a quiet residential road, despite being near such good transport links. At the check in, Arthur was really helpful, giving us advice on the best transport to take where, and checking out was a breeze. The room had two single beds, as well as a fan which made it easier to keep cool in the heat of Budapest's summer. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

City center is very near. House is well connected to public transport, and placed on very peacefull location.

We were very satisfied, the area is lovely, there are trees and hills, the room was silent, the building was a nice old house with an exquisite garden. The city center can be accessed easily by public transport (a few stops).

The booking.com site mentions 0-24 reception service, which is not true, but the hotel staff contacted us on the phone after the booking, and we made plans accordingly.

One key on 4 People and The key is needed doors and gates. Se had electricity splitter For Charing phones but if we had not, There would Be a pretty big mess with this. :)
