Good hotel with decent breakfast.
The extra bed requested wasn't done when we arrived which was a minor hassle as we were very tired and had to wait a good 20 minutes.

Staff in general were friendly
I arrived back to the hotel at 2am to find the entire hotel closed up. I knocked on several doors and couldn't get in. Eventually a security man open the door to let people out of the bar and when I approached to let me in he accused me of jamming my foot in the door (which I did not and would not), when I told him he was exaggerating the situation and I just wanted to get in as a resident he told me to 'Fu£k Off' and started calling me names as I backed away. he was obviously used to taking advantage of people who are drunk but I actually hadn't a drink taken to that point. I eventually got in by binging on a door for about ~10minutes. What kind of hotel is this!

Access from M1 is easy. Good in restaurant was very nice. Good choice at breakfast.
The staff! Staff on duty on the evening of 22nd really need some customer service training. Their saving grace was Jordan. He was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us but the other guy behind the bar was miserable and useless. He said they only had enough white wine for 1 glass when we could see 3 full bottles in the fridge!! He was truly awful.

Air con unit in the bedroom was noisy even when turned off- building works around the hotel makes it difficult to find.

Location was ideal due to proximity to where we wanted to visit for the duration.

This hotel met our needs well for overnight break to a journey. The food was good and the falafels the best we’ve had. Staff all friendly and helpful.
No problems once there- problems beforehand as tried to ring the hotel reception at different times of day over 3 days and the phone was never answered!

The room was quite big and comfy. Easy to find . Plenty of parking
There were some drinks and snacks on the sideboard but unsure whether complimentary but there was no price list. Bathroom needs some attention (room 39) . Not many staff around had to wait a short while to check in and out.

Attended function for family member - staff were lovely rooms not the 'most' up to date but actually very nice and clean

Actually all lovely, just a little upgrade on the carpet would actually make a huge difference and USB sockets close to bed would be a bonus!

Comfortable seating areas throughout the ground floor. Polite staff. Spacious and well appointed bedroom. Great breakfast with a huge choice.
The location is a bit remote. Car essential. Lots of building works on the adjacent fields. But no noise.

There was a wedding during my stay. I had to push my way thru the guests to get to my room.

Staff are great and very friendly. We went for the Xmas party and was all decent and with the money.
The breakfast was included in the price and was delicious with more than enough options.

Beautiful building. Really quiet, though as a popular wedding venue I’m sure that’s not always the case.
No one on reception when I arrived and no bell to ring. I called out several times and even looked at staff by the bar. Only came when another member of staff spotted me and fetched the receptionist.

Beautiful building, nice decor. Staff were all really lovey.
Free car park. Good meals at dinner and breakfast.
Room had good amenities (hairdryer, towels, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, bottles of water, big flat screen tv etc).
Room smelt of damp and evidence of damp in bathroom, I reported the bathroom extractor fan wasn’t working (probably contributing to problem).
Restaurant was closed for private party, which we weren’t informed of before we arrived. Would have been good to be informed of the dining situation when we booked as we had dinner included with stay. (Had food in bar area with party guests which was fine, just very loud).

Beautiful property, ad quiet considering it’s location. Staff all very friendly, food good, very clean.
No path to reception so you have to watch delivery vans that pull up outside and squeeze round them.

Despite of our well-in-advance request, we were assigned the loudest room. This is no hotel but rather a disco for events.

Before we arrived, we had several messages from the hotel as they wanted to give us the most comfortable room for us, and on the ground floor because of walking problems. So the caring started even before we walked through the door.
The atmosphere was lovely in the hotel.
Lovely housekeeping staff, very caring.
Lovely staff in the breakfast room, they had so much patience with people.
Having worked in the profession myself, we just notice how sometimes people negatively treat staff. But Holiday Inn staff are totally wonderful.
We will be back, thank you.

Brekfast very disappointed we went down at 7am and the food was just about warm . And definitely not worth £19.99 would not book breakfast again.
