Prima hotel op een perfecte locatie. Je loopt zo het centrum in en in de omgeving is veel te zien. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt, vlak bij het strand. Parkeren kan je gratis tegenover het hotel aan het water. Moet je wel geluk hebben dat er plek is, wat bij ons het geval was. We hadden kosteloos een upgrade gekregen. Iets grotere kamer en met koelkastje. Onze kamer was op de 5de verdieping en we keken uit over het water. Ontbijt niet inbegrepen dus hebben we ook niet van genoten en kan ik dus niets over zeggen. Ideaal als tussenstop voordat of nadat je de ferry neemt. We zullen bij een volgend bezoek aan Calais zeker weer hier verblijven, because we love Holiday Inn hotels! ☺️

Not the cleanest, beds arent comfy and very outdated and old considering its a 4 star hotel

Good location for the ferry port, clean and reasonable value for money.

Constant loud mechanical noise coming through the bedroom wall (room 506 - avoid!). Room for four people and only towels for two. No spoons for the tea and coffee. Not enough milk. Bathroom door catching on door threshold. All in all just too many avoidable little things preventing me from being positive about this hotel.

The room itself is fine, bathroom could do with some attention-the backlight is on the blink and the hooks for hanging towels etc. are falling off but otherwise clean and comfortable.

Our stay was let down by being challenged about payment both at check in and check out. We had booked and paid via booking.com (for which we had proof) but this was not reflected on the hotel’s system. I appreciate hiccups can happen and the issue in itself would not have affected our experience if it hadn’t been for the gentleman at check out this morning who could have been a little more receptive rather than disputing the payment with my husband (until he managed to update his system which then showed our booking as paid for, but perhaps it would be best to do this before arguing with guests!)

Nun die Betten war soweit OK.

- Das Zimmer wurde Nachts durch Flutlichter, welche die Fassade angeleuchtet haben, taghell gehalten - Die Sauberkeit war nicht wirklich gegeben, denn das Bad war alles bloß nicht wirklich geputzt - Die Aussicht - nach Angabe Meerblick - war nicht das Meer sondern ein Hafenbecken sowie die Fähren nach Irland - Das Frühstück war wenn überhaupt genießbar, ansonsten eher sehr sparsam und sehr überischtlich

Ontbijt was ok, maar het mag wat meer luxe hebben. Zeker het brood en de croissantjes konden beter in verhouding tot de betaalde prijs.
