noise, Wi-Fi dreadful

Great location, everything is on the doorstep. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is nice.

Upon arrival we asked to be moved to a more quiet room as the one we got was above the pub/Street facing. The room we then stayed in was acrually quite quiet, which was brilliant when travelling with a toddler. On the other hand it was quite small for the 3 of us and for price we paid. The biggest disappointment, however, was the shower. The water was barely warm. When we raised it with the staff we were told that it's a normal temperature as its set in an eco mode. In my personal opinion, its far too cold to shower comfortably in a winter, it could be a few degrees higher.

Convenient location

Fabulous selection for breakfast. Pleasant staff Rooms clean & tidy

room was comfortable, modern and clean. Nice toiletries.

Loud music, loud people, loud night club, loud party. Lots of hotel clubbers shouting. No sound proof windows. No table available for breakfast, even though hotel was booked before Christmas. We were told to sit propped up high on a bar stool to eat breakfast. Its not your local Bob's cafe/coffee house Its a £142 per night room!! We asked to be moved and we were allowed in the sharing botanical room. We couldn't relax as we had to leave because table was booked (from non guests) for 10am. You should have pub next door for non guests to eat breakfast. Not put them before your £142 a night guests. Definitely will not stay here again or recommend. Even the fact we cant even get close to hotel to carry luggage in. Plus no parking.

The whole deal except for private function in main bar making drinking late difficult staff so very helpful I didn't ask for a quiet room and didn't get one right out the front of the hotel 101 it was very noisy I asked for an extra pillow which I did get so many thanks for that.

It is a huge minus that there are no nearby car parking facilities as it is quite a hike with overnight bags to park in the local car park

everything was good couldn’t fault it

they have disco until early hours so didn’t get much sleep which was a shame

Breakfast was superb, great selection to choose from, staff were friendly and helpful. The front of house staff, especially Zoe was very helpful and always made things easy. The room was comfortable, lovely soft bed. The location is great for anyone staying in Hertford, near to shops restaurants and the Heritage Trail.
