Fantastic location, service, food, all great!

The location and vista could not be better - bang in the middle of the resort and the focal point at night with a fab resident band on until 2300 EVERY night. Great food at the restaurant. The hotel depends on your needs - it is noisy at night so if you want sleep get a room as far away from the bar as you can, we didn't...... breakfast was good and we recommend the pancakes. Ps good happy hour 3-6pm for half price beer and rum & cokes .....
You need to know (as per previous reviews) that there is a 10 minute drag of your cases over sand... you can maybe get help with that if your driver rings ahead. Our room had the best sea view ever but it was basic, the bed was very tight against the wall with minimal storage and noisy. Basic things were not always attended to but the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. Really torn on this one tbh but as a mid-range hotel it is okay if you know what to expect so recommendations depend on your needs....sitting on the fence ..

Das Frühstück direkt am Strand mit den Füssen im Sand. Es ging immer ein angenehmes Lüftchen, obwohl es deutlich über 30°C war. Es ist sehr interessant einfach an den Tischen zu sitzen und den 50m entfernten Strand zu geniessen und die vorbeilaufenden Menschen zu beobachten.
Sehr freundliches Personal und sauberes WC mit Toilettenpapier und Seife, was auf den Philippinen nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Es gab am Abend immer Lifemusik. Das war super. Die Bandmitglieder haben tolle Stimmen und eine gute Liederauswahl. Leider war die Musik und das Mikrophon viel zu laut eingestellt. Eine Unterhaltung beim Abendessen kaum möglich und reizte die Stimmung.
Karaoke von den Koreanertouristen sollte verboten werden. Das löst schwere Ohrenschmerzen und Gesichtsgrimassenentgleisungen aus.

The location was great! It was right at the beach and there are plenty of other restaurants beside it. The live band in the evening was also nice.
Nothing worth to mention. We liked our stay at the Alona Vida Resort.

Posizione sul mare, si faceva colazione con i piedi nella sabbia. Buona la colazione, buona la pulizia. Camera ampia e funzionale carino il balconcino. Ottimo e ampio il bagno. Staff disponibile e gentile.

Located right in the heart of Alona Beach. Restaurant had an extensive menu of both Filipino and Western foods on offer, prices were comparable.
A band played every night. Located right on the beach so easy access. Staff were so friendly and professional.
Rooms including the bathroom were spacious, nice layout. Wifi was strong

The proximity to the ocean only.
Very small room and old, insects, no hot water on shower, super noise at sleeping time. The pool is surrounded by cement bags. This is the worst room I ever had in my travel life. For that price I paid should have gotten a better place. Flies during breakfast…… awful place. You should return the money I paid. Otherwise I’m not doing business again with you.

the bed could use more pillows, and funny that it’s cheaper to book online than at the hotel but was still a great experience!!

Room was spacious with Sea view (no balcony). You get a breakfast voucher for up to 500 php, the breakfast has a few options we thought were enough, the hotel is located on the beach in a dynamic area. We loved staying there.
They have bands playing regularly so I would recommend getting a room on the swimming pool side if you are sensitive to the noise. It didn't bother us as it stopped before midnight from memory.

Our room was very good. We liked our stay, directly at the beach. Food was good. Breakfast delicious.
You get voucher for breakfast and if you go over you need to pay more. It was ok but for us, we wanted to have different dishes but then you go over amount. Of course one meal was really big but it should be half of this and then we could have omlette together with fruits maybe or sth. Currently you needed to order one of them only.

We loved the location of the place which was by the beach. The live band at night is really great and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Our shower was hot and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast is good and they make great fruit shakes.
If you have light sleep, you might want to ask a silent room in the back as in ours we could hear the live band from the room but it was okay for us, it finishes around 11:30pm

Clean room with good size and a almost inaudibel AC. Smal but nice sandy beach right in front. Clean pool. Well insulated room, almost comlete quiet when silvester party went on and other rooms were occupied by familys with small children.
At some times at the restaurant staff took ages to bring the menue/take order, but the cooking went fast.

staffs were kind. best area in alona beach. nearby Hennan area. lotsa rentals of kayak and paddle board around the property (look for Jeric near hennan area for rentals).
could add wash area for slippers and feet after going to the beach

People are so helpful! Very nice location in front of the Alona Beach. Great time for kids and adults.

The staff and the layout was very good and it was very well run and clean. the band and music was nice.
I think the biggest problem is the vendors on the beach which is really not the hotels fault, it’s a whole problem for the area if you’re a tourist at Alona Beach.

I love that it's a beach front resort yet affordable. :) The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They made me feel like I'm a local too and treated me like a friend.
The AC wasn't working well but because it was cold at night, I did fine with just the fan on.
