Peacefull country property with outstanding views of Lake Eildon and surrounding mountains. With wildlife and farm animals roaming the paddocks. Great hosts who were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. The kids loved it and enjoyed the tennis court and pool.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The location was peaceful and tranquil with amazing views. Looking out to Lake Eildon, together with the beautiful mountain views was outstanding, giving us some much needed relaxation. The Cottage was lovely and clean and very welcoming. The views from inside, are just as amazing as outside. We found the cottage to be very cosy and comfortable and enjoyed watching the sheep, kangaroos and all the different varieties of birds from the balcony. We look forward to returning, hopefully soon.

Absolutely beautiful property. Unit was cosy, well equipped and relaxing. Although the pool was small, it was perfect for a quick dip in a hot day. Unit was comfy and adequate for a quick getaway.
Driveway is a challenge, but I guess for the privacy it was perfect. There were a a few tiny flying insects and mosquitos, even though we didn’t have windows open. But again, it’s summer.

The view, floor plan, balcony,pool placement, i am a frequent traveller booked many places this one sits on top of my list good value for money
Though we were late at checkout it was because of our baby that was not settling down due to new place and we ddnt wanted to leave place unclean but host was standing on our head to leave because they had to go to melbourne for some reason.

The sunset was amazing
Didn't realise that wood or the fire is supplied in winter. Was looking forward to the warmth from the fire, but was able to use the. reverse cycle air conditioner for warmth.

love the location , views were beautiful pool bbq area very clean lovely spot for familys very cute set up in cottages weather was perfect lots of room in cottages surroundings animals and nature A+ short stay for our family and near by family wedding in mainsfield for the weekend.

Beautiful views, particularly at sunset/sunrise. Enjoyed the pool, especially on the first very hot day. Had a great light show from our deck with lightning illuminating the clouds and mountains one evening. appreciated the air conditioning being on when we arrived the first afternoon.
Would have been nice to be able to stay longer, but that was our problem not the properties.

The location has a lovely outlook to the water. We enjoyed our stay despite the cold and rainy weather that Victoria experienced this February. Beds were comfortabe
The driveway should be mentioned as it would be difficult in a very small car as it is quite steep and winds around. Also should mention that there are steps from the living area to the bedrooms and the bathroom & toilet as it would be difficult for someone with any mobility problem.

It was absolutely beautiful. The cottage was very comfortable & it had an amazing view of lake Eildon with incredible sunsets. The pool was also a great feature & the staff were wonderful. Will definitely go back there if up near Mansfield.

Burnt Creek cottages are located up an extremely steep gravel drive road This results in superb views across Lake Eildon. In the paddocks below are sheep and a tennis court. The cottages are well appointed with washing machine, dryer & many kitchen utensils and equipment. It was a very tranquil &peaceful location.
I didn't like the very steep road to the cottages. It had no lights so would be treacherous to navigate at night. We didn't venture out at night. The cottages were split level with 5 or 6 extremely steep steps between the bedrooms and main kitchen/living room area. Furthermore carpet snags on one step could result in a fall if you caught a heel in these loose pieces. Venetian blinds in the lounge area were old & tired and really need replacement.
