Bed was really comfy, loved having access to DVDs that we could watch in our room. Shower was a great size and we had everything we needed.

Because we were on the ground floor, we could hear everything going on outside our room - guests coming and going, as well as the cleaners. It was a little noisy for us.

Mike (host) was very friendly. The room was warm and comfortable. Value for money.

Clean, Cosy, Great location and affordable! Mike is super approachable and friendly and goes above and beyond to help and accommodate any requests or needs you may have. He made us feel very welcome and we would most definitely stay again and recommend this place to others. Great parking and an overall lovely and comfortable stay. Couldn’t ask for more 🙂

The host was 'quirky' me and my mum felt a little bit uncomfortable with some of the things which were said and the way they were said. The host had also made a comment regarding my weight and fitting through a door which made me feel really uneasy and unwelcome. I battle with an eating disorder and extreme mental health issues so it was really hurtful. The stairs/floors in the property were extremely loud and creaky, we could hear every movement in the property. There was a very distinctive unpleasant mouldy/damp smell, predominantly at the top of the property but consistent throughout. The shower was scalding hot, when we tried to turn it down, the pipes came away from the wall. We were rather concerned about using it again so only one of us were able to have a shower. (We sent a message to the mobile number on the door to notify) There was alot of miss matched furniture and accessories in the room. The double bed was nearly falling apart and was extremely creaky. Everytime a small movement was made it would wake me up. Both beds were really uncomfortable and felt like they had springs coming through in places. The TV was barely working. There was lots of different remotes but no manual/visual guide to which is which The room was really cold all night. There was no where to leave the keys when we left in the morning. ***Note*** The parking is not suitable for modified/lowered vehicles despite stating that parking is available for all types of vehicles*** As I'm writing this, I already know that the host will not like this and will reflect in their reply but I have been as honest as I can. Please remember that.
