Breakfast was amazing. Bacon, eggs, milk and juice all provided.

Everything was exceptional. Could not fault Olinda Country Cottages.

Hosts were very generous with their supply of provisions in the kitchen - we didn't need to buy anything, even with a tall skinny fifteen year old staying with us! The location was beautiful and perfect for our purpose. It was hot one day when we were there, but the fan in the bedroom at night was all that was necessary. The chairs in the lounge room were so comfortable that we would have liked more time to sit there. The location is beautiful - gardens are lovely and there are many things to do in the area. It is handy to shops if extra food is needed.

The place was very cosy and well stocked with food and firewood. Furniture and beds were very comfortable and matched the old fashioned charm of the decor. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we were comfortable, even driving us to the train station when we left.

The fireplace, comfortable beds, a fridge stocked with breakfast goodies and a lovely location.

Cute little cottage that was warm on wintery days. Very close and easy walk to shops and cafes. Lovely garden with some big old trees to wander around in. A good breakfast was provided!

There was definitely traffic noise in mornings and evenings. The space was a little cramped for a longer stay, with no shelving or cupboards to store clothes or jackets. Bed was a little uncomfortable and right next to bathroom with door that doesn't close properly.

Lovely cottage in a great location!!

A lovely, cozy cottage with welcoming hosts. We all thoroughly enjoyed the included breakfast and we were impressed that they also offered to wash laundry for us (we stayed 5 night).

The shower takes a while to heat up, a small issue for us (especially our kids) since we live in the tropics and find Melbourne quite cold.

The Olinda Cpuntry Cottage was a delightful place to stay in every way. Ka thy and Wally couldn't have been more hospitable, welcoming and friendly. The cottage itself was gorgeous and inviting and Kathy and Wally provided everything you could need, while the surrounding gardens were beautiful. You could not ask for a better location or find a nicer place to stay in the Dandenongs. I have aleady booked our next getaway in March. Thank you to Kathy and Wally for a wonderful place to stay.

The cottage is very spacious, with high ceiling which makes the space feels very comfortable and airy. Set within Kathy's beautiful garden, I love how private and relaxing this place is. This cute and quaint cottage has all the facilities for a very comfortable and cosy stay: large bed, kitchenette, couch, aircon + heating, small dining table with chairs and best of all, ensuite spa! I love sitting on the patio overlooking the garden, what a lovely place to unwind and recharge. Kathy and her husband are exceptional hosts. She even emailed ahead to enquire my dietary and met all my food requests. Her breakfast spread is very generous, you won't go hungry at all. Her property is located close to many attractions and shops. I love walking and walked to all these spots.

I can't think of anything except for one lacy (clothes) hanger?

We had such a wonderful little holiday here and our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. Their garden was beautiful and it was a great central spot in the ranges. We will be back 🌸
