La posizione, l’accoglienza, la colazione. La struttura confortevole, caratteristica del luogo, appartata e silenziosa.

E’ stato tutto positivo.

Arriving at Emmantina is like arriving home after days in the desseet. Emmanuel receives you at the door and invite you to their terrace meanwhile Tina brings you a fresh homemade lemonade. He takes a map and with an amazing calm gives you the perspective of the island (where to go, where not to, which are the best places and less crowded spot to contemplate the best sunset view in the Aegean). He told us a very true thing: every spot in the west side of the island is a good place to see the sunset!! He explained to us the origins and history of the island... Simply incredible the reception!! As incredible the kindess of this marriage. Loved them!! Changing the subject and talking about the room. It had a history itself!! Since it was and old oven, part of the house!! Incredible with its cave-like shape. As it has a round shape, the sound travelled in a different way so it was very strange to talk and listen to your partner, you thought ir was to your side but it wasn't!! Unbelivable! Another highlight was the homemade jams and pastries and pies by Tina. Excellent from top to toe. The roof-top terrace also amazing!

The first night was too hot and we didn't realize that we had a fan to switch on 😅. So we didn't have much of a rest.

Cool to stay in traditional style accommodation - owners explained the room I used was previously where bread was baked. Location was great - Only 10-15 mins down the hill to resturants, supermarkets and bus stops to beaches and Fira. Owners were very friendly, gave out a map and lots of advice, we're happy to pick me up from the airport and drop me off at the the top of the ancient Thera hill (for a fee). Breakfast was delicious, prepared fresh and plenty of it was provided. Very friendly cats were also cute - one jumped on my lap while I was checking in.

It was quite noisey - I heard other guests talking and arriving/leaving early morning and late at night. There wasn't any air-conditioning but a fan was provided however the windows needed to be open for it to be affective. And as the windows opened out into the shared court yard and where other guests had breakfast this felt like I lost some privacy.

The hosts made greeted us with home made lemonade and made a beautiful breakfast spread for us in the morning, they were very lovely and answered any question we had

A bit far away from the busy areas, Fira and such, if you can work out the bus system then it’s not so bad but a taxi will cost you your first born

Our hosts, Eleftheria and her parents, were wonderful. Full of information, always smiling & always happy to help. The apartment was lovely and had great views.

Breakfast was amazing and the host family was very nice and accommodating!

Breakfast was great! Cereal and milk, yoghurt etc were on point. I also loved that it was mostly homemade.
