The hotel is very well located. The view is beautiful from the panoramic restaurant. The staff is very welcoming.

I can recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Sao Filipe. the location is great, next to the beach and in the city center. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast very tasty. But most of all the friendly staff will help you out with anything. we rented a car at the reception, they picked us up at the airport for free and helped us out with our next stay in CV. Will definitely cone back here if I have the opportunity!

The room was okay with a view to the black sand beach. There was good wifi connection as well. The guy at the reception was very nice - we arrived on his first working day and he helped us in all possible ways and also spoke good English. However, I wouldn’t stay in this place the second time because the whole vibe seemed a bit off.

A really nice hotel, 2 minutes from the beach. The last floor is a large terrace with beautiful views, where you can have breakfast all other meals and relax with a drink. This is a good accomodation for a large group of people. It's very quiet far from the hustle and bustle of the village very centre, market and bus station, but just 5 minutes walk as the village is small. Staff are great very willing to help with transportation around Fogo or to respond to any queries you might have. Rooms are very clean and there's been an effort to renovate as is all newly painted. As a female solo traveller I felt safe staying here. Showers work and blinds are generous enough to allow for a good night sleep 😴

Nothing not to like. This is architecture from the 80s. Rooms decoration is simple, there's a fridge in the room if you need.

I actually switched to Hotel Ocean View because I was originally booked at another (higher rated) hotel in town and had an absolutely miserable experience. This was a much better place for me. The air conditioning was a huge relief and I loved seeing the ocean from my room while I did work on some days. A good location for either walks on the beach or walks into town. The staff was very helpful, especially with organizing airport transfer.

There were ants in my room, but I have learned that bugs are basically an inescapable fact of Cape Verde. It was no worse than some of the other places I have stayed here, and the staff would have dealt with it had I complained.
