When a house is rarely soooo perfect, better than the photos and review I hesitate to review because I want to keep it a "best secret"....but Kathy is such a wonderful host and has a pristine and cozy elegant home that I just had to write this for others who would appreciate art, beauty, graciousness and care in a home that they will rent. One can see a lifetime of collection of textiles and other objects of art all around the house, the kitchen is perfectly stocked, laundry room was large and easy, bedrooms are large, have cozy beds and sheets...and the bathrooms are pristine and beautiful. Kathy is a perfect host, kind and communicative.

Ravenscliff was such a great place for our family vacation, we cannot wait to book again! The kids were so happy to explore the lush nature on the property and it was such a sweet surprise to wake up to deer in the morning! This cabin felt like a home away from home. It was clean, decorated beautifully, spacious with state of the art appliances, and we loved the location. It’s a perfect place for a family reunion, and for a holiday getaway. We look forward to our next trip!

What an amazing place to stay! We had the best time in this spiritual oasis tucked in the woods. The rooms were so cozy and provided us will everything we needed. The bathrooms were spacious (especially the one with the jacuzzi). The living room was inviting with its beautiful fireplace and we even indulge in an outdoor bonfire with s’mores! We have found our special place to come every year for our annual trip. Thanks again for such a great getaway Ravenscliff!

Our VRBO fell through last minute. Kathy went above and beyond to help us get rebooked here. How fortunate for us to end up in this beautiful home! Our adult children and spouses each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The home was immaculate. We were busy with a family reunion nearby, and our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here! We would gladly return!

Ravenscliffe is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do justice! Open floor plan with chefs kitchen. Huge master suite with a spa like master bath. Had plans to go to hunter mountain and stayed home instead to enjoy the house more. Kathy is so kind and answered right away every time I reached out to her. Thank you Kathy!!

Beautiful home and very well appointed and curated. Ravensclaw is at the higher end of rentals, yet very reasonably priced. You do not need to bring anything… except your stress (which will quickly fade away...).

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This was a wonderful retreat from the city! It fit a rather large group us very comfortably and was so close to so many wonderful day hikes and fun towns. I would highly recommend this place and all of us who stayed here are eager to get back here again!

Beautiful comfortable spacious
Amazing every little detail this house is fantastic! the beds the sheets the furniture the exotic decorations so spacious and comfortable. We stayed for a Suny New Paltz graduation and it was about 30 mins from the school. 11 of us all plenty of room. Can’t beat the scenic property.

Family Christmas trip
This will be my sons first Christmas and I was looking for the perfect weekend get away to gather the family. This house was perfect! We had a total of 10 guest from adults to infants and there was plenty of room to add more guest if needed. Very well maintained and extremely clean!! The host was also great with communication and made everything as smooth as can be with step by step instructions on everything I needed to know for our stay! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with my family.

Wonderful place to gather for a wedding
Ravenscliff was perfect for my family use when we got together to celebrate my son's wedding. The house is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed and equipped. We all slept well and enjoyed the gorgeous fall foliage. Kathy is a great host, easy to reach and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Great space for family wedding weekend
We attended a country wedding in beautiful Ulster county and rented Ravens Cliff to accommodate our family rather than renting 4 rooms at a hotel. The house is excellent - charming, nice finishes and very spacious - tucked away in a forested setting. It was great for the family before and after the wedding. Would highly recommend it!!

Peaceful Getaway
We rented the property for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and the fact that we were all vaccinated and could be together again. The house and property exceeded our expectations. We loved sitting by the fire together and all that the trails, breweries, and towns in the area had to offer. I would highly recommend.

Great Girls Weekend Getaway
This property was the perfect setting for a group of 8, plenty of space to sleep comfortably. The house is beautiful, spacious log cabin retreat with great seating areas to eat, hang and cook. Check in and check out process was seamless. Would definitely come back here again.

Much Needed Get Away
We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to get away. However, we all felt that the house could have been cleaner. The lighting in the house was extremely dim. The outside grill was below standard. And the indoor fireplace needed to be cleaned out prior to our using it.

The property is perfect for a quiet getaway with a large family or friend group of 6-8 people. The house is immaculately clean and has ample sleeping accommodations. The owner was readily available via telephone and responded promptly to all questions. Highly recommend and will likely book again in the future.

Amazing!
Words can't describe how perfect this little slice of heaven is. I travelled with two other couples for a much needed getaway. Each couple had their own bathroom. The space is so tranquil - we set up a yoga area in the upstairs loft - it was perfect. We barely left the property instead preferring to cook in the amazing kitchen and sit my the firepit in the evenings. Kathy was wonderful. Highly recommend. You won't find a better spot!

Amazing experience
Kathy’s house is a 10 out of five. Spacious and comfortable rooms and common spaces, very stocked kitchen with large island, gorgeous Mountain views, relaxing meditation zone and to top it all, a large jacuzzi in a bathroom larger than a typical one bedroom in the city. We will be back !

Amazing Birthday Weekend
We rented Ravencliff to celebrate my 50th birthday weekend. We were three families and the house held us wonderfully. Lots of space and spaces for different things - the chefs, the fire tenders, the puzzle doers and the snow players. Kathy was a great host and provided all the info we needed for a great stay. Perfect Mountain Getaway
My friends and I had an amazing fall weekend at Ravenscliff! The house is very spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and bathrooms are excellently appointed and up to date. We had many nights comfortably lounging by the fire in the beautiful living room. Kathy was very responsive and even reached out during our stay to let us know of a nearby hiking trail that had just opened that weekend. Olivebridge is well located close by to great towns like Woodstock, Stone Ridge, and High Falls. During our stay we hiked at Kaaterskill Falls (busy but highly suggested), tasted cider at Westwind Orchard, and shopped all the great little stores in Woodstock. We are looking forward to returning next year!!!

Beautiful Home
This house is even more beautiful in person. We were a party of 12 and were beyond comfortable! The house was spotless, very well decorated and had all the comforts of home. And the setting is serene.
Highly recommend staying here, we hope to the next time we are in the area.

A true 5 star experience
The owner, Kathy, is perfectly responsive and the caretaker, Deb, is exceptional.
The house is one of the most beautiful log homes we have ever seen.
There is abundant wildlife on property and the area around the house is wonderfully quiet.
There are many hamlets and villages within a few miles.
We spent most of the month of July here, and would recommend this home to anyone interested in a rental in the Catskills.

Beautiful and serene
We love this home! The owners are very helpful and respectful, and the home couldn’t be better for us. It is a combination of artistic yet personal, really creates a relaxing and welcoming space. Would recommend and stay again! The master suite is amazing!!

Amazing place!
Pictures do it no justice. This place is amazing! I will definitely return here for as long as I can. The property is clean, spacious, furniture is in great condition. Stocked with everything that you need. Kitchen is state of the art.
The bathrooms are all beautiful with a huge whirlpool in the master bedroom. Master bedroom is very spacious. The home layout gives privacy if staying with other couples or children.
The outdoor is breathtaking. Too bad it was raining for the most part of my stay and didn’t get to enjoy the scenery and hike around.
Kathy is a great host and communicates frequently. Gives you all the details and directions.
Can’t wait to return in the summer months!

Amazing House--Wonderful Weekend
Our three generation family reunion at Ravenscliff was perfect in every way. The house was spotlessly clean, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Kathy supplied answers to all my pre-visit questions and provided detailed instructions for our arrival and departure. There were spaces where all of us could congregate and private spots for individual conversations. The kitchen layout allowed for 3 or 4 cooks at the same time. We enjoyed a soccer game in the backyard and one evening gathered around the fire pit.
Our adventurous family members found trails nearby for running and hiking. Our California/Florida/New York/Toronto crew had a wonderful family weekend.

Lovely property and looks exactly like in the pictures
Loved the log house look and the interiors. Clean and nicely maintained. Very spacious and outdoor space was great too.
All activities are about 30 minutes away - so if you want something in a quite setting this would be ideal. Else you should look for something close to city/shops. Pantry and other supplies were decently stocked up. We ran into some a/c issues on the first day but the owner was quick to respond and it was fixed.
Had a great time with family and friends. Enjoyed cooking and spending our time well both indoors and outdoors!!

Presidents weekend stay was a winter wonderland
Without a doubt this is the best upstate home to visit. Great vibes inside and around the house! Very clean and modern, but yet has a multicultural influence. Beautiful decorations, new appliances and has everything needed for a good time with a great company. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Definatly a must stay.
