This was our second stay at this home. Liked the quiet beachfront location and private beachfront pool. The water views are hard to beat. Grocery store and restaurants are just a short drive away. Owner and local property manager were very accommodating.

We had an amazing week. The property was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Everything that we needed we had available- umbrellas, chairs, beach towels. When it was not extremely hot we did enjoy sitting out in the patio or by the pool. The view was amazing.

This is a wonderful house. The kitchen has every imaginable convenience. The bedrooms are lovely. There is plenty of beach equipment in the garage. We have loved staying here and recommend it highly.

We stayed at this place 9 years ago and loved it. This time we thought that it wasn’t as clean and it could really use some new furniture in the living room areas. But the location is wonderful!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at this beach house. We especially enjoyed the pool and being able to walk for hours on the beach. The house was clean, attractive and well furnished. The owner and property manager both were welcoming and helpful.

We had a wonderful family week in LBK. The weather -sunny & high 70's. The house rental was a Christmas gift to our children and our one grandson, a custom started several years ago of renting a large house for all to convene. Hard to have a bad time when our anticipated yearly trip arrives!
While we enjoyed our time, I must admit the places previously stayed, at this higher price level, have hit the ball out of the park while this house hit into a double play.
The main 2 reasons I booked this house was 1) heated pool (it is February) 2) direct beach access - where we could set up our chairs outside our house & watch our 3 year old grandson play in the sand/surf. Strike 1: pool heater was broke the entire time except for last day. So 1 out of 8 days it functioned. Strike 2: large rocks on the beach at the surfs edge. No direct access into the gulf in front of our place. We had to walk four houses down the beach to the public access. I realize this is necessary to avoid more beach erosion & not much you can do about it, but it should have been MENTIONED in the description as it might have altered my booking.
Finally, while these 2 strikes were disappointing, the hit into the double play was the general upkeep of house which was fair at best. Not one closet shut or opened right, washer sounds ready to break, bikes in bad shape - only 2 rideable with our fixes, only 6 coffee mugs, ping pong paddles chewed by ??, etc etc.. For this price, I expected much much better.

We spent 10 days at this awesome home with our two children, their spouses and our 4 grandchildren. It was beyond perfect! The house is comfortable, spacious, clean and well stocked with appliances,etc. The beautiful pool was a huge hit with the grandchildren as well as the numerous pool toys available! Having a gorgeous beach right out the front door was amazing - not to mention the thrill of seeing dolphins swimming by and world class gorgeous sunsets! We could not have asked for a more perfect house to have this relaxing peg time with our family!

We were 23 nights in this big beautiful house and enjoyed it very much. The local property manager was very responsive and helpful. Having 2 king suites was great for having house guests. The saline pool was meticulously clean and maintained. Miles of beach walking, and the area just in front of the house was popular with surfers.. great entertainment. The 75” TV was a big bonus for playoff football. We would recommend this house and would stay there again.

We were scheduled to arrive in Longboat Key right after hurricane Idalia hit the coast. For 2 days we’re called and messaged the host 6 times with no response. Luckily a family member of mine drove to the house and was able to talk to the property handy man who informed us of all the issues as a result of the storm including a broken AC. We didn’t know if we would be able to use the house until 11am the day of arrival! It was very stressful. The property handy man was great and very responsive but his name is not on VRBO. We also did not receive check in instructions until an hour before check in, so that was annoying! The house is beautiful and spacious. We couldn’t use the pool because of all the sand and storm surge that got into it. Otherwise it’s a very quiet location and great for 4 couples or a family. Right on the gulf too.

We have stayed in many oceanfront vacation homes, and this is the nicest. It has everything we needed - from beach toys and toddler beds to kitchen wares (including spices) and games for lazy afternoons. It was clean and spacious. It is extremely well located. The property manager responded to all our questions promptly. It was a perfect house for our family vacation.

This property is exactly as it is advertised. The beach is so close and it's a beautiful spot on Longboat Key! The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. There is plenty of room for everyone. The pool is fantastic as an alternative to the beach. The outdoor seating by the house is wonderful. We had a perfect week with our daughter and her family including two small children. The upstairs master is spacious and has a fantastic view as does most every room in the house.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. The layout was perfect for our group of 6 adult and 2 small children. Beautifully decorated! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were as described with the added Murphy bed in the den that we had somehow missed. The house was immaculate, and the property manager left some fresh fruit and flowers, which was a nice touch.
The property manager was awesome. We lost internet and tv, and he made calls to make sure we got it restored, which was helpful as we had people trying to work remotely.
I would definitely stay here again if I had a large group….we had 7 adults and 2 children.

My family had a wonderful ten days at this property. The house was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy. The best part was it’s access to the beach and it’s location in a quiet neighborhood. The only downsides were that the pool was a little too chilly and the downstairs master could use some blackout curtains. We’d stay again though because Longboat is so special, and it’s difficult to find many homes that have such great beach access.

This property is fabulous. The sunsets every night and the quick walk to the beach made for a wonderful vacation. The rooms are plenty large especially the upstairs master. The kitchen includes everything you need and the outdoor deck was delightful at nighttime. We had small children with us and it was nice to be able to run up from the beach with them as needed. The beach is literally just a few steps from the house!

So glad we found this house, the stunning property, beach, and excellent management made for a really wonderful family trip. While staying here in late August, we rarely saw more than a few people on the beach, and often were the only ones out. The house is beautiful, very clean, with comfortable and functional common areas and the master suites are truly glamorous. The huge windows and sliding doors give beautiful views of the beach. Never felt crowded with 4 adult couples.
