Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Close to cafes and the cinema. Gladiator 2 was excellent

Well organised and beautiful house
I wished new bathroom had a toilet as well so that it would be enough to accommodate everyone in group. And a lock system for existing toilet.

Great location
The rubbish was everywhere and it stank really bad. I tried to contact the owner but there was no response and all of the messages just had generic auto replies. The cancellation policy policy was terrible so we had to return 4 days later after our hike. The smell was still there and the dishes were still in the dishwasher.

A lovely property to stay in, comfortable and a great location for Hobart's "Eat Street". Elizabeth St has excellent restaurants! Also not far to town. Keyless entry also an advantage on looking after keys. House was well equipped for those wanting to cook.
Some early communication was not followed through causing a bit of stress.
Main bedroom now has a "do not remove" plug which is fine but needs to have functioning multiboard plugged into the other socket so other items can be plugged in when required - best if owner sets this up to avoid issues. The lack of even a toilet upstairs was managed by our group but could see maybe problematic for some.

Location was convenient to eateries.
The bottom bedrooms were very cold. There is a heat pump directly opposite the staircase’s. It didn’t matter what we did , the heat would just got up the stairs.
When we arrived, after requesting a cot, it was nowhere to be seen. We had to go hunting and found it in the laundry. No base to the cot, only a dusty quilt found on top of a locker that had light bulbs sitting on it. They almost fell off and caused injury. Once contacted host to ask for base and sheet. Was told we had to supply our own. We had to go purchase bedding. Owner did call in with bedding the morning after our first night to offer bedding, but was too late. We needed it the night we arrived after travelling all day and had already requested cot weeks ago. The day after our first night, owner cancelled the request for the cot. Also told owner of terrible stench coming from toilet. Owner came, we couldn’t work out what it was. The following morning it was so bad it woke those staying down stairs. It was definitely a dead rodent in the ceiling or outside.
Wet washing left in machine from cleaners - we had traveled from Qld and wanted to do a load of washing. Linen left in dryer as well. The state of the machines were disgusting. Washing machine was full of mould. We were definitely not washing anything in that. Made us wonder if the (1) only tea towel supplied was washed in that unsanitary machine.
Also the oven was absolutely filthy. Had not been cleaned in months. Was not at all going to cook in that. Kettle was very unsafe. Lid opener broken. Kettle would not turn off it self, and when you lifted it off to pour, lid would pop open and burn your hand.

Received email with details for access which was easy to understand. Loved the location and was walking distance to some amazing cafes/restaurants. On site parking was a bonus. Love the decor and the home was spotless.
Found heating to be running insufficient but my husband cleaned filters in split systems and they then worked amazing. Notified owner that we had done it as a favor but no response. Communication was hard but I suppose they didn’t want to interrupt our holiday with messages or responses so seemed acceptable.

Location was excellent - right in the heart of Elizabeth Street, North Hobart. Plenty of room, great bathroom and kitchen facilities for cooking. Drove to Hill Street Grocer for supplies, but walked everywhere else - especially enjoyed the walk to Farm Gate Market on Sunday morning and then down to catch the ferry to MONA. Plenty of awesome restaurants and wine bars around locally too. Great area.
Could hear the crowd and live music from the pub about 50 metres away on the Saturday night until 11.45pm, and street noise (rubbish collections, delivery trucks etc) quite early in the morning, but ultimately nothing unexpected given the location, and only at the front of the house.

beautiful clean cottage. had electric blankets and air conditioners. Comfortable beds and linens. Coffee maker. off street parking. Beautifully styled. Nice location.

The location is great. The beds were quite comfy. The linen was clean. There was only 3 rolls of toilet paper provided for 8ppl for 3 nights, but when I contacted the owner it was rectified promptly.
The standard of cleaning was very poor. In the kitchen, the drawers were dirty and even in the drawer with the pots and pans, one was filled with water. There was a space where towels should hang but clearly was removed, plug and sinks broken and dirty, hair in the bathroom drawers, bins were full etc. Even the the hand soap was clearly ‘topped up’ with water, which is not what should occur with this type of property. Clearly no attention to detail. The outside toilet is pretty much non-functional. 8 beds with 1 toilet is hard to manage. Car parking provided for only 1 car.

Nicely decorated home with renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Quality furnishings and appliances. Central location. Easy to access. Good facilities with washer and dryer and tv with netflix.
Stairs going upstairs were unexpectedly very steep. We had grandparents with us so this ruled out the rooms upstairs but we also had kids that wander from their bed into ours at night and the stairs were directly between the kids bedroom and double bedroom upstairs but there was no gate at top of the stairs so we had to have them sleep with us downstairs in our bed. Could be rectified by putting in a retractable gate which we saw in another accommodation. Bedbase was spring and creaky upstairs and there are no flyscreens on windows so reluctant to open the windows in the evening.

Despite the unusual layout of this very narrow house it was adequate for the two of us. Kitchen and bathroom fine, good water pressure. Enjoyed the movie posters.
Parking was Very restricted, our 4WD poked out onto the footpath. Bed was too small for the two of us, should have selected one each, doona very hot. Unable to find how to lock front door when leaving. No pods for the coffee machine.

The property was close to the shops. It was also a big plus for us that it is also close to restaurants since we were out for most of the day and couldn’t be bothered cooking at night. We could literally walk everywhere and we’d be right in front of any shop.
There was 5 of us in the property and we could’ve had more people with us however there was only one bathroom so it made it a bit difficult to coordinate.

The location is very close to bars and restaurants. Very quiet yet convenient.
Dusty throughout the entire house. Only one toilet to share among 7 people is a bit chaotic.

The house was freezing cold. 2 air conditioning/heating units are insufficient.
The garden was unmaintained and had wheely bins overflowing with other people’s rubbish.
There wasn’t enough hot water for 2 families.
The kitchen cupboards were dirty and disorganised.

Excellent location a very short walk from Elizabeth Street, a major foodie location for Hobart. Also a longer but reasonable 20-30 minute walk to the CBD, or a short drive. Lovely house with a comfortable living and dining space. Nice big kitchen with all the basic utensils and appliances provided.
The second toilet is outside, so wasn’t very clean, and as it rained a lot during our stay, this meant it wasn’t really usable due to the muddy and wet walk between the house and it. The upstairs was not really suitable for the kids in our party due to the steepness of the stairs.
