A perfect place to stay while visiting Asheville.

Breakfast was fantastic. View on the 2nd floor balcony was great. Great local recommendations for food and drinks from Paul.

Bathrooms are small, but functional.

From the moment we were greeted at the the door to the day we left, Paul and Mirlin were exceptional hosts! They gave wonderful recommendations for our stay, the breakfast was perfect and the room was beautiful and clean. We will definitely be back!

Different four course breakfast each morning, delicious. Lots of history and intrigue in the old Mansion. Gardens are well-maintained. Rocking chairs on the porch were incredibly peaceful. Host met us with ice water & a slip of lemon, gave us quick overview of fun places to visit, and tips on where to park. Advice was totally on target.plan to return soon.

We had asked for a gluten free breakfast and it was made to order without hesitation! The owner was very accomodating, even helping us carry our bags up to the 3rd floor where we were staying! I would definitely go back!

Everyone had to be in the dining room at 900. You could not pick a time for breakfast.

breakfast was very special. i loved the table settings with the pretty dishes and tea cups. the poached egg ensemble looked beautiful and tasted so good, we also enjoyed the poached pear and its presentation.

wonderful hospitality

The staff was extremely warm and friendly. Made my wife and I feel right at home. The accommodation where very nice and comfortable with an authentic Victorian decor that wasn't campy.

I don't have much to complain about, the only thing I didn't like was zucchini on an breakfast item. Not a big deal because all of the rest of the food was amazing.

The owner of this establishment is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in customer service industry. I will never ever ever stay at this establishment again.

We make a habit of staying in the most interesting places with a rich history or in a unique bed and breakfast. This place delivers both in spades. Paul and his wife exemplifies the idea of what hosts should be. The only thing that outshines how welcome they make you feel is the four course gourmet breakfast that you are served each morning. This will be the only place we will stay when coming to Ashville for now on.

Having to leave was the only downside to staying here. My breakfasts are going to feel subpar for a while now.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Reynolds Mansion. It was close enough to the city to get downtown quickly, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The grounds were gorgeous and serene with a lot of wildlife and flowers, the staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, and our room was so comfortable. The house brought us back to another era with the decor and old music playing. The breakfast every morning was top-notch and a great way to meet everyone staying at Reynolds Mansion. We plan on staying there again next time we visit Asheville.

Something so minor, but our shower water was tricky. It was hard to get the temperature right, so we battled between scalding hot and very cold. Such a minor inconvenience that it didn't disrupt our stay.

The location is convenient to much of what Asheville has to offer. However, once you turn onto the private driveway you have entered a slice of heaven tucked away among the ageless trees. Even though it is close to everything, you still feel the peacefulness and privacy offered in this setting. The stay was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was out of this world in both presentation and taste! The Reynolds Mansion is absolutely a superb bed and breakfast! We will be staying here again.

Room was located on 3rd floor. Many many stairs to climb. However, this was expected

Well kept antebellum house in a perfect location. Lots of privacy behind well placed trees. Our host, Paul, was standing on the huge front porch on our arrival with a tray of iced water, to welcome us. After a private tour of the house by Paul, we were shown to our room where a bottle of champagne waited for our anniversary. Breakfast each morning was a 4-course meal with the chef explaining what each course was made of. The absolutely best breakfast we have ever had. What was there not to like about this wonderful experience. Will surely be staying here again in the future. Well done, Paul and Jim.
