Hotel location, atmosphere and friendly staff

prime location in front of ski slopes very nice SPA inside the hotel cosy rooms in typical valley style

the hot tub in the SPA had so much chlorine that still smells on our skins after 3 showers. She the water wasn’t even very hot. the steam bath also not very hot. we had to pay extra for the SPA where, at the booking, it seemed included in the fee!

Luxury at an affordable price. I felt like a king. Large room with balcony and stunning view. Great breakfast. Kind staff. Probably my choice of hotel in Gressoney from now on.

Breakfast was really good, with many options and kind staff. Our room (attic) had a warm feel and was very nice. Despite being in the attic, it didn't feel small. The location of the hotel is very convenient - you can reach various restaurants and hiking paths without the need to move your car. Same for skilifts. Daniele was kind and available at the front desk. Hotel guests can get a pretty nice dinner at a very close restaurant for 25 euros. The wellness centre is pretty nice.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay - these are smaller things. There was a green light over the door in our room; it was very annoying as it was fairly bright at night. The description could and should make it clearer that access to the wellness centre is subject to an additional fee; furthermore, I read the fee was 14 euros per person but it was actually 15. We did not have our own flip flops/slippers as we are used to receiving them from the hotel; instead, we had to pay for those, since we needed them to go to the wellness centre.

The room was charming and well appointed. The staff were super helpful. I had a private booking for one night and another booking with a group for another night, with one day in between for an overnight on the mountain. For the price of a late checkout, the hotel staff allowed me to leave my stuff in the room and come back to the same room the next day. They were very accommodating!
