Variety for filling up the tummy. Menu changed every alternative days, and there are ‘permanent’ food selection

asked to replace shower head “it was so bad it splashed everywhere” they checked on it telling me it’s working fine. then while changing it they got the whole bathroom dirty like unbelievably dirty.

The whole experience was good to exceptional. We had very late check in and the staff helped get some snacks. The breakfast and dinner buffets were extremely good with massive selection of top quality food with wide variety. The equipment rental staff were very good, friendly and helpful and the equipment rented was of good quality. Being able to ski in/ski out was really nice. Whilst not part of the hotel we had pre booked beginner snowboard lessons for both daughters and the instructor was good with good English and both daughters are now confident snowboarders. The onsen and sauna were very good and whilst relatively small were never crowded. At all times the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to provide good service. This extended to arranging transport to the train station when all the taxi's were not available.

Only minor downside was the pillows were quite hard and would have been nice to have a softer option. To be fair we didn't ask so these may have been available.

hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the bus stop to/from Otaru/Sapporo is right in front of the hotel, hotel ski rental services is great, like the ski in/ski out😊

This is an excellent hotel, ski-in/out, very comfortable, with a lovely indoor/outdoor onsen and a superb breakfast buffet.

Great buffet breakfast. Great location for ski in- ski out. Nice locker staff. Nice bed linens. Very nice Rotenburo! Very kind breakfast staff and cleaning staff.

You are a captive if you don’t have a car and they have made the most of not doing things due to coronavirus that other hotels have managed. They stopped their shuttle but don’t put it on the site. They only have one lunch restaurant open and they only have set price buffet at night. They have a hamburger pre order that must be ordered by 2 pm the day before so when I arrived I missed it and then next day I didn’t know the ski restaurants were open. Their “ biten” has no real food, just cup a noodle and snacks and lots of alcohol... The hotel needs a face lift- the corridors and design are quite old and have seen a lot of use. The local buses stop at 4 pm starting March 7 but it’s not on the site.
