Hi Booking.com We have used you guys many times before and never had any trouble.I would advise you not to have anything to do with this venue in the future as it may reflect badly on your reputation.Never mind 2 stars, it should be lucky to receive 1 and is just passable. Passable because the bathroom, linen and floor were clean. There were a couple of cigarette burns on the shelf in the bathroom indicating that people had been smoking in the room.The only reason we stayed was because it was the only venue we could find with any accommodation at short notice.We live in the Blue Mountains and had to attend a funeral early the next morning. 1) our room was supposed to be non smoking, but it reeked of smoke.2) the window doesn't open.... which we were advised of after check in and a visit to the office.  No info re: that anywhere. Hugely claustrophobic with the smell of smoke and no fresh air......3) wi-fi..the information provided was erratic. Some sites said yes, free wi-fi, others said no. There is none.4) door locks were very iffy and insecure .....the doors could be opened with a swift kick.5) the bed was lumpy, badly sprung and uncomfortable but at least the bedding was clean as were the towels. The rest of the furniture was shabby and a bit knocked about.6) TV ..the size of an A3 piece of paper, but it did work.7) the young man who checked us in was helpful and pleasant but said there was nothing he could do except offer us our money back and we could stay somewhere else..... however there was no other option for us at the time8) an accident waiting to happen.....you sit on the spare bed and it slides out from the wall, creating a gap between the wall and the bed for you to fall into..9}.there was a small fridge, microwave and jug, all of which were new but plugged into a 4 point power board which was stuffed behind the fridge and then plugged into a single power point....again not very safe.

Bed was rock hard, jug didn't work. Too noisy with pubs both sides and cafes/restaurants underneath
