I had two pillows, where not that comfortable. Can be my personal preference.

Our hosts were so welcoming and the breakfast each day was fresh and plentiful. We also had apertivo twice at the hotel and it was equally nice. Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful.

Everything! The hotel itself is stunning and a credit to its owners and staff. Our room was spacious and had a lovely small balcony overlooking the port. The room was spotless and had nice little extras such as a Nespresso coffee machine with a plentiful supply of capsules and slippers which were greatly appreciated after a long day sightseeing. On our first evening after a long day traveling we enjoyed an aperitif on the beautiful patio before going out for some food. Our breakfast each morning was fabulous, again enjoyed on the patio of the stunning garden which is maintained to perfection. We were provided with all the information we required regarding places to visit and recommendations for restaurants to dine in. Organising a day at the beach in a local beach club was no trouble at all and we were even provided with little bags each containing a beach towel for our trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Throughout our stay we were treated in such a friendly yet professional manner by both the owners and staff that made our experience so enjoyable and memorable. Lavagna train station is less than 15 minutes walk and has great connectivity to all the local coastal towns, Santa Margherita and Portofino are a must and of course the Cinque Terre. Lavanga is a lovely small town and is worth exploring for nice restaurants and cafés. Nearby Chiavari is a 20 minute walk across the bridge in the centre of town, is a beautiful old town worth a visit early morning for stroll around the stunning streets, a stop for a coffee and for some shopping (ie before 12.30 when everything suits)

Difficult to mention a single thing that liked us the most. Staff was wonderful, the room was really nice, everything was spotless clean, but what stood out most probably was the breakfast, especially the home made cake every morning.

Unfortunately, the garden closed at 20:00, which is understandable in a family business, where people need an evening for themselves. It wasn't really a disappointment, as we knew it when we booked, but still.....

The hotel is quite new, the furniture and the amenities. The location is good, close to the beach and the main attractions. The hosts are very kind and attentive, ready to help you with anything. The breakfast was fresh and always replanished

Super efficient with the booking, provided good guidance on restaurants, the place is super clean and in a great location.

The only downside is there is no parking on the property, but there is some nearby.

small negativ point: our room was on the basement and we would hear the noise (not very loud!) from breakfast if we slept in. Otherwise it was perfect!

We enjoyed everything! Room, view and breakfast was outstanding and the owners superfriendly. Lavagna is a great base to explore the surrounding area (Cinque Terre and Portofino). I would definetely stay there again.

Very special place, well situated to reach by car or train many destinations. The Hotel is cozy, tastefully arranged and very clean with beautiful garden to relax. The hosts were very wellcoming and helpful.
