Wunderschönes altes Fachwerkhaus mit äußerst hilfreichen und freundlichen Personal, ideal gelegen.

Es war sauber was mir sehr wichtig ist und das Zimmer hatte viel Platz also absolut ok. Handtücher waren sauber Bett war bequem.

Cafetassen hat es keine gehabt, 1 cafecapsel hatte es und Zucker aber kein Kaffee Rahm. Wasser im Zimmer hatt es auch nicht gehabt. Ein kleines duschmittel wo wirklich spatanisch war ansonsten hatte es noch handseife. Essen würde ich nicht dort. Reservation fürs essen kaotisch, hatten dies nicht im Griff, essen selber würde ich nicht empfehlen für mich sehr eintönig und auch keine gute Qualität. Da müsste man noch dran schaffen. Personal war aber bemüht und immer sehr nett auch der Chef. Frühstück war ok.

Hotel is located at the main street in the old town of Karlstadt. Bathroom was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was very small, nobody from the staff noticed that lamp near the bed is not working. There was an info that hotel offers bicycles for rent, but there is nothing like this. As for the place with a normal restaurant an the ground floor, I would expect much better breakfast. Last year I was in a different hotel in Karlstadt, near by, with the same price and breakfast was much better.

Located right on Karlstadt's main street. Very helpful and enjoyable employees. The interactions throughout breakfast were memorable.

Only one power outlet in the bathroom forces you to be strategic, and you have to be careful going up the stairs (on the first trip upstairs my wife and I almost ate it because the steps are a little shallow)

Situated in the older part of the town, and yet still between 5 - 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Traditional accommodation. Quiet location. Single room was quite small and might not suit for a longer stay. Buffet / help yourself breakfast.

We really liked this traditional hotel located in the heart of main street. Really friendly owner and staff. The Restaurant/bar had a wonderful atmosphere and really good traditional food. Breakfast was excellent with eggs and bacon cooked to order. No lift. Private parking nearby. We hope to return here.

old German charm and a good breakfast

This is an old hotel/tavern and restaurant with lots of history. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

My room was somewhat small and not air conditioned which was an issue as it was a very hot day.And night. I left the window open and was a little concerned about mosquitos unti I remembered the squads of swallows who swept the alleyway going back and forth to their nests. No mosquitos would survive there long.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Electric heater in the bathroom which we were grateful for when we arrived on a cold rainy day. We could park our motorcycle in the shed/garage close by. Perfect location in town.

No cupboard, just a few shelves, but at least there were many hooks and hangers. The only place to put things on was one small round table.

Nice location in the city. There was a carnival party going on downstairs which I had not expected, but after 10:30 the music went off and I had a perfect night. Breakfast was great, very friendly woman.

This rarely happens. I arrived in Karstadt at close to 21.00. The lovely hotel staff kindly showed me the parking. They offered me dinner, despite the fact that the kitchen was already closed. I was simply amazed at the hospitality of this beautiful hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. I recommend travelers to specially visit the hotel restaurant, even if you do not live here. It is good on its own. Thank you again this wonderful hotel
