The staff are pleasant, attentive and happy to talk and help with anything you may need. Very good wifi, one at the restaurant and another one around the rooms. Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms, with nice bed linen, towels, soap. Impressive garden with under roof seats and hammocks where I could work and rest protected from the sun and rain and surrounded by nature, peace and quiet. Excellent cuisine at the restaurant. Also great dj parties on certain nights - which cannot be heard from the rooms, located in a different part of the estate. Good location, a short walk from shops, restaurants, atm and a 20 min walk from Paliton Beach.

We knew before booking, cold showers only and fan only room.

The hut/room.

There was noone there to check us in when we arrived. It took us half an hour to find someone. During our stay it was difficult to find the staff. Loud Music from the bar at night. Low water pressure in the shower. It was extremely slippery to walk around the area. They mixed our laundry. No breakfast before 8 am. We booked a tricycle to the ferry, and it never showed up. No wifi in our room (there in a common area but nobody told us) It seemed like they didn’t care abort us as guests.

Our stay was so great. We slept comfortably and the food was very tasty.

The guesthouse is not far from a great beach, a little away from downtown San Juan. Very friendly staff. Because of the reservation confusion, my son and I slept in the massage cottage, so they did not charge for one day of accommodation. Fair enough. There is also a mango plantation on the owners' property.

10 minute walk to the beach! Close to street food stalls. Loved the little hangout area and doggies. You can rent mopeds and book tours and the staff are very friendly.

The walls are literally bamboo so if you are a light sleeper you can be kept up by crickets and bugs and woke up in the morning by dogs barking and roosters crowing.

Ralph and Chelle (the owners) are fantastic. Friendly fun and so helpful. Ralph worked so hard all day and night to make sure everything was running smoothly and that all guests were served and happy. All the staff in fact couldn’t do enough to help. We stayed in a mixed dorm and the beds were comfy and the fan was strong enough to cool the room at night. Really nice chill area where drinks can be purchased from the mini bar and right next door is the sister restaurant to Chelles and the food and service here is also great. Yummy breakfast avalaible for around 200 piso - Highly recommend to stay here and would definitely go back if we’re ever in Siquijor again 😁
