We were very close to Luxembourg City, without being right in the middle of it. The hotel is beautiful, and it's location in a suburb was perfect. If you go at the weekend, the parking was free, so that was ideal for us. The staff could not overall have been more helpful if they had tried, and we felt very welcome. The public transport around Luxembourg City was free and there was a bus stop really nearby, it was easy to get into the city and perfect as it meant no driving. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was peaceful, except a loud humming that was coming from somewhere below us. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was amazing, just make sure that you don't order a starter and a main course as the main course was huge 🙂.

The room we were located in had a very loud humming noise on and off all through the night. We think that it was possibly a large commercial fridge/chiller in the Kitchen, but I couldn't be sure as to the source of the noise.

Lovely place in a picturesque location. Comfortable bed and nice room. Bar and restaurant on site. Food fantastic and lovely staff helped us to translate the menu. Breakfast also good. Parking available but only for 1800 - 0800. Rest of the time it’s 1€/hr

A quiet hotel with a very nice view and friendly staff. It has a traditional feel and I hope they don't renovate in a modern style. I do recommend.

- Old squeaky bed + mattress + pillows - Old smelly carpet - Noisy extractor fan from the kitchen which you can hear in your room and even feel vibration - No vegetables, greens for breakfast - Ceiling lighting is 10 Watts or so - generates almost no light and is useless

We had an amazing experience in this hotel. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was amazing, the room was very comfortable with a good heater for the winter and it was the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen! It is situated in a calm place, a bit far from the city center but has a good bus connection only a 6 minute walk apart. To sum up, our stay was very comfortable and we definetly recommend the Hotel Sieweburen if you want to visit Luxembourg.

Lovely hotel in a quiet forest location, but still only 15 minutes from the city centre

Hotel serves a good breakfast: eggs, meat and cheeses, cereals, etc. Nearby forest with kms of paths, great for walks and runs. Playground across the road for kids. The city is close enough to walk. The room was vast and clean. The bathroom was bright although the shower was compact. The room was made up every day.

The location was very good and an oasis from travelling. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Would return on another trip.

The bed was very hard, small pillows 2nd floor . no lift Would like a room with a shower next time.

The breakfast was great and the staff as well! Very quite place to just relax.

No supermarkts close by. You need to take 1 bus and 1 tram to reach the hotel from Centre / Gare.

I have been here several times before COVID-19 and have always been very pleased with the old school Hospitality. the location is superb and the food is simple but very tasteful.

I assume the location has a new owner. it was not very clean and a number of lights in the room were broken. the staff is friendly apart from one waiter ( new guy for me) he was rude and impolite. makes “bad” jokes and really doesn’t know how to “write” hospitality. for me it was definitely the last time to visit this place.
