The location

The carpets in both rooms were filthy. The rooms were not ready at check checkin time. Did not offer to store the bags and only confirmed ready when we chased them half hour later. Would have been kept waiting otherwise. The toilet flooded the bathroom but as hotel full could not be moved. Eventually repaired, then stopped flushing. No other room with twin beds available so had to use the toilet in the room next door. Two meals ordered via room service. Only one came and had to wait for the second meal. After complaint, was not charged for the meal. A discount was provided for room with broken toilet.

The staff are extremely kind, from check-in, to breakfast and check out. The room was elegant and comfortable Swimming pool Good breakfast

Roof terrace bar is lovely and they took well care of parking the car

The hotel in itself

At check in the reception guy tried to push a tour to make his commission and he was adamant about it. It is unacceptable ml and it ruined the experience. I expect an apology

Our room was on the side of the building that when windy the wind whistles through the window frame. Didn't sleep one night and others where interrupted sleep.

Pool. How is it possible that a 5 stars hotel has a shared pool with a public gym?! Also, it's a bit degradated.
