Big room, big balcony with a nice view and a fridge. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room. Location is very near to Volterra by car and you can park right in front of the hotel.

Very disapointed! One of eployee of the hotel parked at the main entrance and made big dent on my car with the door. Bad attitude to solve the problem. No one seen anything, no apologize, no one admit the demage. I would talk to the hotel manager, but never seen her/him, only message trought the receptionist. They don't have any guestbook, where i can notice my experiance. Bad bad experiance. They ruined our honeymoon. I do not recommend this hotel.

Don’t expect a romantic atmosphere as this is a cheap functional type of place. Bear that in mind and you’ll be fine. Staff was friendly and very helpful for talking you through Volterra and restaurant suggestions. Location is a 10-20 minute walk into town, with plenty of parking. This is a good option if you don’t mind walking and aren’t looking for a fancy Volterra stay.

Breakfast was OK, nothing special (cold meats, pastries, cakes). The walk into town is a bit isolated and narrow in places (OK for me, but some might not like it). Bathroom was a bit tired.

A very pleasant place to stay, outside town, peaceful location, breakfast in the garden. Particularly helpful and friendly reception staff on arrival.

Comfortable bed, peace and quiet, parking space is large, very clean.

Everything in general, was perfect. Huge size, very clean, nice frontdesk staff, new bathroom, confortable bed, quite complete breakfast. Big parking also for the car. Great experience

Very comfortable room and nice people working in the hotel. Cca 20 minutes walking to Volterra which is stunning!

Staff were very friendly, easy parking but a good 20 minute walk into town and not good at night though did find parking in town and we were only there for one night so not a problem.

The room was a little bit musty but fine after an airing, would maybe advise staff to air rooms.

The location is very quiet. The use of the pool at the campsite was nice experience.

The hotel is situated in front of an abandoned hospital, there is no light in the evening, therefore you have to take a car to go to the village. Or to walk in the dark through the hospital :) Our expectations did not meet the reality at all, but it is okay for 1 night stay for the last minute booking. Another fun fact was the promised "swimming pool" which was 3 km away from the hotel...

The receptionist was really nice and very helpful.
