This is a super hospitable place with an awesome view over the bay and the flowerful garden.

The property is simple but well finished and well maintained and has fantastic views across Kolios bay. The owner is wonderfully friendly and cannot do enough to help, and the cleanliness is second to none.

Generally nice and quiet location with a fantastic view.The lady in housekeeping is doing an excellent job and the apartments are very clean.

The mosquitoes which are very hostile and the noise from the boiler room below.

We really appreciated the friendly approach of the owner Babis, who gave us all the information we asked for and helped us with whatever we needed. Our apartment was nice and cleaned up every day. The appartement is surrounded by beautiful garden with the stunning view on the sea. The location is very practical, it’s great to explore the island from there. Moreover, the atmosphere was really cosy, it made you feel like at home. We’re thankful that we found an amazing place like this for a good price. :)

The location is amazing, on the top of the hill with a fantastic view. We had sea view apartment and the rooms were big and it had 2 big terraces: one with this amazing sea view, one on the opposite site, well located under shadow during the afternoon. We also liked the the garden where Babis has a lot of flowers but also some vegetables. It looks as the house and terrain were depicted from a nice tale. If you like the 5 stars hotels with luxury settings, this is not your place but if you enjoy the countryside style and "family" like locations, this is one of the most picturesque I found in Greece. And, again, the view is fantastic!

The minus of the location was the lack of mosquitos protections at the windows. Due to this and also because the weather was extremely hot, we slept awfully during nights. There was air conditioning but in one room was not working properly and nevertheless we could not use it all night long as it has got too cold. Unfortunately we could not open the windows, as I said, because of the mosquitos so...long hot nights...

Mr. Babis was very helpful and friendly and always would offer us coffee! Love and most probably will miss the two dogs that live there Laika and Ramona, very friendly excited and playful whenever they saw us, just adding a dash of extra happiness in our stay!😁❤️

Everything was great!

We had a great time, the apartment was lovely. In a very quiet area, Babies was lovely and looked after me and my friend, also the two dogs and kittens which we called the three omigos were so entertaining and very friendly, especially the kitten which we called Thomasina, I fell in love with her. The gardens and flowers were so so pretty, I would definitely recommend this as a get away from everything.

The walk from the main road was a bit challenging if your on your own and don't drive as it's very very dark on a night and quite a steep climb. That hasn't put me off going back as it has amazing views, loved it.

Spacious apartment with bedroom, kitchen with utensils and a good refrigerator. The apartment is perfectly clean and has a well-functioning a/c and shower with warm water. The view is excellent. There is a small supermarket for all your needs, including milk, bread, pita, fruits and vegetables, 250 meters away down at the main road. The recommended nearby beach named vromolimnos has crystal clear water, a beach bar, and space to sit for free as well, if you don't want to pay the 10 euro for renting an umbrella. It is a 1.5 km walk from the apartments, but it takes some effort to get there in full sun heat. Vromolimnos is nice to see once, but it is not comparable to koukounaries beach (koukounaries is the place-to-be). The bus stop for the apartments is nr. 13 "kolios"; very useful when you hop on at the start of the bus line (skiathos city) or at the end (koukounaries beach). When you need to go somewhere from the apartment, the best is to flag a taxi on the road (10 euro to skiathos city or to koukounaries), as the bus is usually full and will skip the stop. On the day of your arrival to skiathos, contact the host (Babis) to pick you up from the airport or the harbor for a friendly price, as taxis charge more than double (25 euro) when they see that you are new on the island. If you arrive by boat, you could consider getting to the apartment by bus for 2 euro per person (at the airport there is no bus service), but after getting off at stop nr. 13, you still have to carry all your stuff 250 meters uphill on an unpaved road.

At walking distance there is not much to see or do. You can't comfortably walk to the beach. There is only one restaurant nearby, good enough for eating once. Therefore allocate some budget and quite some time for traveling up and down to skiathos city and to koukounaries beach, because you will not want to stay at the apartment all day.
