Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked staff lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing could have been better

The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is good and on time. The hotel is in a good location regarding getting to places.

I know the hotel is going though a makeover at the moment and as far as I can tell at least one room has been changed from top to bottom with everything new. I have stayed at the hotel at least 4 times over the years so I know if I get an original unchanged room it’s going to be very tired. Loo would only flush if you lifted up the lid on it so the mechanism didn’t bang on the underside. The shower head leaked out of the sides and the fixture was cracked so you had to place the shower head in it carefully. Heating on for about an hour in the morning and evening so curtains had to be placed on the window frame to keep the heat in. I bought a hot water bottle with me so I was warm. I was in room 6 and it had a lovely new door but unfortunately at this time there was no room number on or by the door so I had to ask the staff which room I was in. I didn’t bring up any of the issues here with the staff because the whole hotel is being changed to a very high standard from what I can see. As I’ve stayed there many times I know that there could be little things that are a bit worn here and there and that’s what I expect in an unchanged room.

Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Comfortable bed, clean room, excellent breakfast. Good location for exploring the town and North Wales generally. Good parking facilities.

Rooms are above a bar. Even on a Monday and Tuesday night, it was noisy, so weekends may be challenging to get a good night's sleep.

Was woke up the 1 st morning to banging sawing and general building noise at 8.45 was not informed half the hotel is being refurbished morning of check out cleaner banging on the door at 10.01 which I thought was a bit harsh would not use again
