Close to marienberg fortress

Would stay away with staying in a dorm. I will get a private room else and just add few euros

The location is very good. The staff is helpfull.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the showers were hot and powerful. The fact that breakfast is included is a big plus, and there is a good variety to choose from. The chill out area is a very cosy place to enjoy a coffee or a beer too. Great location!

I would have liked wifi in the dorm rooms

The only point is the size of the room. But I was aware, nothing was omtted. Out of this point, I reaaly liked!

The size of the room...

The rooms were modern and clean. The vegan bread spreads at the breakfast buffet were amazing. Lovely inner courtyard to chill.

Only two power outlets in a six people bed room were way too little. Also this weiird system of not getting a key for yourself. In the six people bed room there is only one key for six people that you have to hand in at the reception. The room door is also not locked when you close it. So if one of your room mates forgets to lock the door everybody can enter the room.

The breakfast is really good, the whole place was really clean! The staff was kind!

I stayed only one night, and it seems like it is more a hostel for bigger groups. So, even though I met a few people, there are not that many travelers around, hard to hang out with people I would say. But maybe this was only my experience due to wrong timing!

The breakfast was quite good. We were able to access the castle right from the hostels paths on the back, very convenient.

We got yelled at because we didn’t have the youth hosteling international membership. We didn’t realize we had to have it since we were able to book without it. We’re not teenagers and we came with no ill intent, so I see no reason to yell at us especially when we could solve the issue then and there.

Delicious breakfast with a variety of European style cold cut and bakery. Helpful and nice staff, the building is equipped with elevator and terrace, lounge and bar, a lot of common areas and facility. Very suitable for a group of friends or family.

There is no Kitchen for travelers to cook, but there is a bar/restaurant.

Everything was really nice .

Fantastic Location directly under the Marienburg Castle. The Old Town sights are very close by across the river, with some being only minutes away. Having a personal bath- and shower room was very comfortable. Very nice breakfast is included in the price.

Having the membership surcharge not included in the main price is annoying. Guests have to make the beds by themselves and bring the sheets down to the reception when leaving. Wi-Fi is reliable only at the Reception and the Lobby, you can sometimes connect inside the room but it would quickly break off.
