This was such an unexpected pleasure. A beautiful family run old posada with much charm and elegance. The staff were lovely. Our bedroom was large and very comfortable with lovely garden and pool views. The swimming pool is wonderful and although not officially open for the summer we still had two lovely swims. Cazalla de La Sierra is a pretty village which is easy to walk to. Good restaurant in the posada and other options in the village. Peaceful, with bird song and a chance to relax.

Location was perfect. Travelled for a wedding. Room was clean and quiet.
Wish there was an elevator for our larger luggage. But otherwise great stay!

The facilities were incredible, we were delighted by the grounds and the pool. The 8K sondero around town is not to be missed. The staff were outstanding; the best service we experienced in all of Spain - at the hotel and in their restaurant.

Location very good and staff very helpful
Given the somewhat limited opening hours of the cafeteria and restaurant, it would have been very nice to have tea & coffee making facilities within the room.

La Posada del Moro is a beautiful old hotel that has been well looked after. In the summer the central square of the hotel would be a lovely and relaxing place to spend time. The location was perfect for me. A short walk to hiking trails. A short walk into town.
At night the hallway lighting must be turned on by the hotel guest before they walk down the hall to their room. An explanation of where the light switches are and how they work would have been helpful. I arrived at night and ended up using my iPhone light to find my way.

The hotel lies right at the edge of town so it is perfect to avoid the narrow streets when going for hikes in the natural park and quickly get around. It has a distinct style of its own, with a great patio, which makes it stand out from your average hotel. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is of exceptional quality. For an average price you get a large serving with a delicious taste. We ate there the first evening and decided to do so again afterwards. We ate at a lot of different and good places during our two weeks in Andalucia but this ranked in the top spots, which is remarkable for a small town restaurant.
The wi-fi is only available around the lobby area. There was no signal in our rooms. For us this was only a minor inconvenience as we use our phone subscriptions most of the time anyways.

Staff speak only Spanish, just gave us the key and didn't explain nothing.

Wonderful location. Beautiful grounds. Well kept rooms and vary smart interior. Large swimming pool and relaxation area. Staff extremely friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend, and particularly good value.
