The B&B was just perfect, a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the spectacular view around. Very good breakfast and nice rooms as well. The owner is also extremely kind and helpful. Super reccomended!!!

we loved the room and the property. Great location just the Dirt and rocky road down the hill was not good

the Road to get to property is bad. Rocky dirt and narrow and downhill. we loved the room up stairs but had no AC. we did not need it that day but it was advertised as A/C

You need a car to get to this location but it was well worth the drive. Lovely, quiet, such a sweet host!

Couldn't easily find which door to go to so we could check in. But that was very minor!

Would have been good to have cleaned the pool, the sun was out and although it wasn't hot, it would have been nice to have a quick morning swim...

Exceptional place, in the middle of a pittoresque, typical Tuscan scenery with vineyards, like from movie. The room was spacious and clean. In the morning, you wake up with the beautiful Tuscan landscape in front of your door. Very good breakfast. There is a possibility to buy a bottle of quality wine from the region at the reception. Around 30 min car drive distance from Florence. For lunch or dinner, the closest little town (San Casciano in Val di Pesa) is 6 min drive away and has many restaurants. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations.

Location, comfort, hospitality, breakfast — everything here is wonderful. My favourite place to stay.

The location was incredible with a great view on the vineyard and valley. The building is an historical villa/farmhouse that has been kept like as it was originally. There's a free pool outside. The staff was kind.

The bathroom was a bit small

Great point to go to all nearby cities. Easy access to highways,. Kind owners. Helpful. Peaceful. Great place for kids (no traffic). I came back for the third time. Enjoy your say!

Our first days in Tuscany were so nice, thanks to La Fonte del Machiavelli! Nice rooms, breakfast and swimming pool in a really nice, quite area. We recommend this location for sure :)) Thanks a lot!

Traditional building with great patio for breakfast with a view.

The last 400m to the house are via a very steep and unpaved road which is badly taken care of and a challenge for smaller cars. The garden wasn't attended to so quite overgrown. Less neat than other accommodations of same price range.

La Fonte del Machiavelli is a great place to stay! Facilities are good, nice breakfast on a pretty terrace and a comfortable swimming pool. But most importantly, the view is amazing! This alone will make sure we return!

Apartment was not spotlessly clean, but satisfactory.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was great and the location was beautiful. The cot and high chair provided were great for our 9 month old baby. Thank you for having us!

Stunning historic villa in classic Tuscan scenery. It’s impossible not to feel relaxed! Lovely hosts who were keen to make you feel welcome and looked after. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with a fantastic view from the terrace. Pool was also excellent. Only one thing to beware of: the entrance road is not in good condition, so be careful if you drive anything that’s not a 4x4.
