We had a wonderful stay at the Bonnet House. We shared the house as two families of four and there was so much room to spread out. The basement was the perfect place for a sleepover for the younger boys. The house was immaculate and all of the little touches made our Bromley ski weekend perfect!

This is a beautiful home, the pictures struggle to do it justice! Rooms are big and bright, everything is immaculate and Joanie makes the check in and check out process so very easy. We stayed with three adults and 2 kids (6 & 4), and everyone had plenty of space to enjoy themselves and spread out. Easy walking to Manchester center and super short drive to Dana Thompson park, Bromley and Stratton meant we would we were never short of activity options. 10/10 would (and probably will) stay here again!

This house is a gem in the middle of a beautiful town. The quality of the interior is outstanding. Plenty of space for everyone. Joan was incredibly responsive and nothing was too much trouble. As others have said, the kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of linens, towels and additional touches with bath robes in the closets. The other thing Joan couldn’t control was the weather so we didn’t ski much but with such a stunning home we were happy to sit around the fire and play games. Thank you - we can’t wait to come back.

The Bonnet House is absolute treasure. Perfectly situated in Manchester. It's easy walking distance to all of the shops and eateries but tucked safely to the side of traffic and noise. We had easy access to coffee shops, restaurants/bars, bakeries, and one of the best book stores we've ever been to. The property is perfect with ample parking, a great sitting porch on the front and back, and a gas fire pit to enjoy with friends and family. The house itself has plenty of space for large dinners and gatherings but maintains an extremely cozy feel with all of the decorations and places to sit and cuddle. Perfect for all ages and affords enough spaces for kids and adults to have their own areas and not bother each other. The host, Joanie, is extremely accommodating. Everything was clean, stocked, and well thought out. There are extras of everything. Joanie even had some things in the fridge for us to throw a little breakfast together if we wanted to. The environment is warm and cozy. The home was surprisingly well insulated as well. It was an easy drive to and back from Stratton Mountain where my family spent our days on the slopes. I would definitely recommend Bonnet House and we will definitely be back. This house truly had something for everybody. Kids room with comfy beds in the lower floor for them to watch movies and play games. A quiet sitting room to read or write. A large family room where we watched movies together. However the absolute highlight was the chess table. Our little ones learned how to play on this trip and the adults had fun sitting around with drinks in our hands watching our kids pull their queens out way too early :) p.s. when we discovered that the Keuring machine was not working properly, we texted Joanie only to discover that there was a new machine in the box sitting on the porch. The attention to details, quick responses, and overall care were greatly appreciated and we did not take it for granted. It definitely made our stay comfortable and stress free.

Our entire family, including Grandparents, Parents, children and a nanny stayed at several homes owned by the same host - all practically next to each other. This home was the center of our activity and was loved by everyone. The location is perfect for walking to town - to the Northshire Bookstore and other nearby sites. While we were there in the winter, it would be great in the summer, as well, with easy access within walking distance to all the Manchester municipal parks. Joanie was a great host, always responsive if we had any questions, and personally delivered new batteries for a TV remote when an issue arose. All rooms are very comfortable and several children in the family - ages 5-11, claimed the basement as their “hangout” and loved it. Highly recommend this house and host.

We stayed at this home over Thanksgiving. It offered plenty of space for 10 guests. It was very comfortable and well stocked. Check in was super seamless. Walkable to downtown Manchester. Would definitely stay here again!

Walking distance to the middle of Manchester, this house is perfect for big groups, horseback riders, skiers, leaf peepers. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed. The new AC system makes it a perfect summer rental. This was my second time staying. And I will return next summer.

Simply beautiful inside and out, decor, artwork, kitchen, and gardens. It's a one block walk to shops and restaurants. Spacious! Plenty of room for 9 guests to sleep, eat, and gather, as well as find a quiet corner. Ample seating on the porches, back patio, and large fire pit. Plenty of towels in the kitchen and bathrooms, recycling, paper straws, and sustainably sourced disposable ware should you choose to use it. Extra touches: multiple streaming services, plenty of fire wood, and breakfast foods in the fridge.

Our stay at the Bonnet house was perfection. The house is impeccably designed and extremely clean. Joanie is a wonderful host and thinks of everything. It was better than some 5 star hotels I have stayed at. We can’t wait to come back!!

This was our second visit to this beautiful, well appointed house located right in the center of all the action and we will definitely be back again. Joanie was an attentive host who thought of everything - we were so appreciative of her quick responses and especially the breakfast goodies that she had stocked in the fridge for us. This house is even better in person! Joanie kept the property so clean, hooked us up with breakfast starters too! The great room is perfect for a night in for movie, family games or taking a nap on the must comfortable couch! Also the location can not be better!! Just a few doors down from downtown Manchester, perfect!! Hope we can make it back one day soon!

Had an amazing Labor Day Weekend stay. The house is exactly as listed, and was so pleasant and comfortable for everyone. Enjoyed spending time on the spacious front porch. Location is perfect. A short walk from restaurants and shops in Manchester. Communication with the owner on all matters was excellent. Would stay again on our next visit in Manchester!

The property was absolutely amazing and our host was 10/10. The check-in process was a breeze and the house was truly perfect with so many thoughtful touches (fridge stocked with all the essentials for breakfast the next morning, extra towels, robes in each room, etc.) and the location was wonderful - just a short walk from town. We will certainly be back soon!

We had families staying at Bonnet house for our son’s wedding. It was perfect and they all thanked me for arranging it for them. I would definitely rent again. Comfortable house with everything you need. Great location and Joan is a great host. Even leave breakfast supplies for the first day.

This is a beautiful house right in town. There are so many amenities that you almost forget you aren’t are staying in hotel. From robes to built in soap and shampoo dispensers, cell phone chargers and eggs and butter in the fridge, even a package of masks. Plus the place is immaculate. Several large sitting rooms to accommodate big gatherings, a fire pit , really well stocked kitchen, fireplace and games all add to a great experience

Our family of 8 came for a ski vacation just after Christmas 2018. The home is a charming, older home, beautifully (yet practically) furnished and extremely comfortable for a good-sized group. If your group size possibly justifies it, also including the TuckedInn cottage just out back is an absolute must. It is an exquisite "villa" to add to your stay at a very reasonable cost. We did not get to meet Joan in person, but she was an attentive and responsive host. When we were confused or needed a little help, she responded within minutes each time. If you rent homes frequently, you know this can make the difference between a relaxing stay and frustrating experience. Thank you to Joan for that! The walkability cannot be overstated. Except for getting to the mountains, you wouldn't have to get in your car at any point during your stay. Restaurants, books, coffee, shopping: all right out your door. The home is older and has some quirks that certain families should consider. The lighting is a little unusual in some rooms, and some people might consider it dim in places. Importantly, the stairway leading down to the basement "bunk room" is an open stairway and not recommended (by me) for children under six or older adults. This might limit your sleeping arrangements. The upstairs is four bed, one bath -- typical for the early 20th century, but not the 21st. There are 1.5 baths on the main floor (where there are no bedrooms). The kitchen is very workable and well designed for an older home. It's not the "chef's kitchen" you get in a new luxury home, but entirely good for most purposes. The house is not inherently child-proof, and you'll need to take a few steps when you arrive if you have babies or toddlers. These quirks did not impair our enjoyment of the home, but guests are best to be informed of them in advance, in case they have very specific expectations. Finally, we enjoyed our winter visit. But I expect we would equally well enjoy the home in the spring, summer or fall. The foliage views from the home itself must be fantastic. We hope to come back and experience the home in different seasons, perhaps for years to come.

Everything about this house is PERFECT including Joan!! Joan responded to us immediately. We woke to a flat tire, we called Joan and of course she was right there to help us!! Joan had flowers on the counter and bacon and eggs in frig for us when we arrived. 6 of us girls come to Manchester every year for a girls weekend. We will be coming back to this house next year. The house is immaculate, the family room is perfect -fireplace, large clean couch. The kitchen was fully stocked you do not need to bring any to cook with. We just loved it here!! Thank you for everything Joan we will see you next year!!

This charming, very roomy house is filled with neat artwork and great books! The beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water and everything else needed to make a stay perfect. Walking distance to town was such a bonus! Our group (6 adults) loved it!

We had two families with adult kids stay in the house for a wedding. The home was perfect and well decorated. The family room was very comfortable and was a great gathering place. The owner, Joan, was great to work with and on our arrival she had wine, beer, water and coffee which was really appreciated after a long trip. Also, the location is great and you can walk to the town. I would highly recommend the Bonnet house. Thanks Joan for making our trip to Manchester memorable.

Very lovely home, just as described. We had a few couples get together for a ski weekend at Stratton. House had plenty of room, very comfortable with all the amenities needed (e.g., cooking utensils, wifi, linens, fire place, towels, etc.) and well laid out/designed. Owner was very responsive and helpful even allowing us last minute to check out a few hours later to enjoy the town. Ideal location in the center of Manchester town walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. Easy ~15-20 minute drive to the base of Stratton mountain. Perfect for 4-5 couples ski weekend or a large family looking to enjoy the town and surrounding areas.

Our stay at the '136 Club' could not have been better! The home is beautiful and everything from the bedrooms to kitchen to customized bathrobes made our stay more than comfortable.
