No A/C in the rooms. Hot water kept going out in the shower. A lot of outside noise. Curtains let in too much light in the morning.

nice little hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, only stayed one night and was fine for a short stay. location isn’t bad with a 10 minute walk or so to the center.

rooms were smaller than others we stayed in, no aircon, knocked on a few peoples houses to find the entrance and the wifi was pretty poor.

The staff was super nice, kind, and helpful. Nice breakfast, clean rooms.

Beautiful gardens and building, great decoration. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great volcano view!

The description lied - there is no usable hot tub. We booked this hotel because it listed a hot tub as an amenity. 1) it wasn't a hot tub, it was an outdoor bathtub 2) we were told it was out of order until we mentioned it was the only reason we booked the hotel 3) when they did finally fill it for us, it was with cold water....

This hotel is quite far from the main areas of activity in Antigua, and the walk from town is poorly lit and feels sketchy. Also, there are really only two desirable rooms (the Blue Room and the Suite), while the others (there are only a few) are dark, noisy, and have no views. The front door to the property is always locked, and guests do not receive a key. The intercom was broken when I was there (there was no sign or notice of this), so I had to stand on a somewhat scary dark corner waiting after I buzzed until I finally banged on the door and the night porter came to let me in. I booked and paid for a 90 minute massage and received a 60 minute massage - I was offered a quick facial to make up for it, but the facial was literally just a masque treatment that was applied and removed. The jacuzzi is room temperature, but there is a steam room you can ask to get heated up for you (I didn’t try it). Breakfasts were basic but tasty and freshly prepared.

Everything was perfect!

That we couldn’t stay longer because our trip was over.
