We love the location, we know Horta well and it was not a disappointment.

Arrival. We telephoned on arrival at airport and were told we would be welcomed at the property by the owners Mother. When we arrived, we had to wait for half an hour in the garden and when the very nice lady arrived she did not speak any English so we did not get a proper introduction to the facilities. However despite this the staff were very friendly and nice.

The hosts are charming and helpful, giving an overall positive vibe. The room was large and very clean, thanks to the cleaner tidying it up daily, and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the proximity to Porto Pim. The AC unit with dehumidifier option was very handy.

When we arrived there was a smell of mold in the room. The shower floor had a lick of paint that was sticky and peeling off.

rooms were large and modern

parking. too many stairs. had to walk through other guests patio to reach the stairs. after checkout I left with one of my daughters and could not fit all of the luggage in car. my wife and two other daughters were told they could not stay on property. they had to walk to another hotel in the RAIN and wait for me to return. worse of all. the smell. every seaside room has a smell. but this one was too much. we woke up in the morning with headaches. we spoke with two other families who had the same problem.

Interesting and peaceful location close to the sea and within easy walking distance of the centre of Horta.

The terrace flat was beautiful, with all equipments you could need. Architecture, material are at very high quality and the space is very comfortable for 5 people. Francisca and her husband are very welcoming and everything is done to have a great stay. Thank you for all.

comfy beds, nice showers, you can listen to your friends going to the toilet - great experience for team building, one weird missplaced bed in the living room for occasional visitors, psychedelic sofa good for a nice trip, the jacuzzi is amazing

mold smell in the whole house, I have an allergy against dust mites and the sofa and carpet triggered this allergy every time, missing mirrors, noisy neighbours that you can hear because the walls are super thin
