What a wonderful home to gather our family! The layout was very conducive to social gatherings and the pool was a hit with all of us!

It’s hard for me to complain too much because the house was beautiful. But for the price per night, the issues we had shouldn’t be a thing. The house is great, but needs a lot of work. Multiple lights didn’t work and has issues because the dimmer switches need to be replaced. The master bedroom had a light on at all times making it hard to sleep, not to mention the terrible mattress that needs to be replaced asap. It’s literally collapsing.. The grill doesn’t work. The stove needs maintained. Outdated and worn out furniture. Outdoor furniture that was painful to sit on. Outdoor bath was filthy. Lots of great things about this place for a big group but if you are spending this kind of money, the house should have a working stereo system, a normal keypad door so that we can lock up (I appreciate you guys trust your neighbors for your property but what about mine?) and lighting that works and isn’t giving you strobe light feels throughout a beautiful home. (it’s cheap to replace a dimmer switch). All in all, do a little maintenance & some facelifts and it’s worth the price. If not. Eeehhhh pick somewhere that matches the luxury price tag.

Beautiful property and nice layout and outdoor areas. A few electrical issues, outdoor grill area does not work. All doors do not lock. Hot tub had broken pieces in the bottom and pool had broken and cracked pieces. Thing the pool needed to be chemically checked before we got there. Several of us broke out in a rash. But after pool guy came it was much better!

This house was amazing!!! The amenities were awesome and the Host was accomodating.

We loved our time together in this home! The pools are beautiful and relaxing and we will definitely plan another family vacation here as it will be difficult to find another house that has this kind of room, pools and location!!

This home was absolutely gorgeous. We especially loved the way the living area opened onto the patio and pool area. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed the the bridge over the pool with the spa and waterfalls, all overlooking the golf course. The sunsets from the living room and pool area were magnificent.It felt like we were experiencing paradise at its best. Our family reunion was better than we could have ever imagined.

Beautiful layout in a gorgeous setting. An easy walk to the beach club, fish ponds, good walks. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Furnishing are a bit tired (some in need of repairs) but manager was responsive and made our visit comfortable. Overall excellent time with family and gorgeous setting.

The manager's communication and flexibility could not have been better or more accommodating to our schedules. The house easily accommodated 9 adults and children--we had to be creative to give the toddler his own space so his parents could sleep. We also were delighted to rent a 60-foot child-proof fence to keep him happily active on the patio and away from the pool. Otherwise, we loved the pool and hot tub and the short walk to a very child-friendly beach with snorkeling for the adults. It's also a very quick drive to restaurants and a grocery and is in a super quiet location. Loved it!!

we were a family of seven and had a wonderful stay. i cannot say enough nice things about suzanne and alex and their management. they responded almost immediately to any concern we had (and the concerns were minimal, to be clear). the property itself is solid and likely just due for a little maintenance after, i'm sure, pretty heavy use precisely because it is, at base, a wonderful home that easily accommodates 7 (or 8), well laid out with privacy for everyone, but with a large common area walking out to the pool.

Great Location, furniture and design a bit out-dated and used.

Perfect arrangement for families. we all loved the pool, which was large and had a deep end, seats In the shallow end, and a bridge. So loved the large hot tub. House is the perfect design for families: a large kitchen and great room; and the bedrooms are all separated and give people a place to get away from the crowd. we all loved it!

The home worked out wonderfully for our needs . We had a family of 10. Loved the privacy and quiet while close to most activities. Ron was great to work with on property. Way better experience than the big resorts !

I am in real estate, but I have also been a Flight Attendant for 12 years & travelled the world. I know a thing or 2 about what I like in a house. I also use reviews to make decisions when booking or buying things. This house is amazing, & we almost didn't book it because the photos didn't accurately show the true beauty of the home (some updated real estate photos/video would really elevate this listing). Luckily, with a little research I found an online video tour of the house and booked. Pros We could check in early and checkout late with min cleaning list (AMAZING). Beds are very comfy. Theres a split floor plan, the primary & 2 bedrooms are on 1 side. The primary overlooks the pool/golf course, & has a lanai, en suite, & outdoor shower. The 2nd bedroom has a lanai & ensuite. The 3rd bedroom is by the garage, has a lanai, & ensuite. The 3rd/2nd bedrooms also are next to the front "kiddie pool." The center of the home is the kitchen, dinning, & living which are HUGE. The other side has the office & sits at the front of the house w/ a day bed & twin trundle, & the guest bathroom (you can get to it from the living room/office. The 5th bedroom opens up to the pool & has an ensuite. The backyard is beautiful perfect for entertaining. The location is PERFECT. You're right on the Mauna Lani resort, 10 min walk to the Beach Club (which is included in the rental and VERY kid friendly), 20 min walk to 49 Black Sand Beach, 35 min from Kona/Airport, 35 min to Pololu Valley, 30 min to Waimea, 10 min to the Hilton/Marriott, 5 min to the Auberge and Fairmont, & a Foodland close. CONS: I am giving this place 5 stars, but I still think it's important to list a few things just so you have the FULL picture when booking. The experience was so great that they really aren't worth mentioning unless you're super particular. There's a noise restriction at 10pm, & the HOA is VERY strict. We learned the hard way after we were doing Karaoke (very late- sorry again). They are also very strict on lighting. We rented an ALOHA sign and brought a neon light to light up the VERY dark patio and the HOA complained (none of the outlets worked on the bar to plug in lighting & its pitch black once the sun goes down). A waterfall, built in grill, & outlets on bar don't work. No lighting around bar/steps. There is another grill to use though. We found 1 dead bug (a good thing). Ignore the other reviews saying otherwise. Its a tropocial island & an open air home.

Location is key, close to shopping. Husbands loved the golf course. Lounging in the pool was a daily event.

We stayed at the house for four days and had a wonderful time. House is well stocked with towels, soaps/shampoo, garbage bags and a pantry with all the basics you will need to cook anything from breakfast to dinner. House has a sliding glass wall that opens from the living room onto the patio. Nice mix of bedrooms ranging from a beautiful master suite to a trundle bed/home office. Spent most of our time outside by the pool, which has a great view of the golf course and sunsets. Ron the property manager is just a phone call away if you have any questions. We went to the beach club one day. Greta little beach. A little rocky but the water was beautiful. They rent snorkel equipment and it was worth it. I would recommend getting there early- they have lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent but they go fast. Not much shade on the beach. We ate lunch at the restaurant by the beach club. Food was very good a great view as well. All in all a very nice stay. The house is beautiful and in need of some TLC but well worth it. Would absolutely recommend a stay here - both the house and the Big Island.

We have been waiting to stay at this property for 4.5 years and finally we’re able to make it. It was an amazing stay. The pool is perfect for groups! View from the backyard is stunning. You’re a short walk or even shorter drive to the beach club. Property manager was communicative when we had any hiccups.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. No question we would stay here again. The house is showing its age a bit with some minor elements that could use some TLC. Personally, we really didn’t care about any of those minor things. We were looking to chill by a pool after our wedding and this was exactly what the doctor ordered. Heads up that there aren’t many delivery restaurants, but the local grocery store delivers! No need for a car!

My husband & I brought our adult children & their children (all adults plus 1, 9 year old) to celebrate our 50 wedding anniversary. The house is in a beautiful location & has a great pool & spa. The house has a nice layout with good separation between bedrooms. It did concern us that the house was dirty & there were a number of items in disrepair. Still we had a great time, what can I say it's Hawaii! I did have a pleasant conversation with the owner after the trip & she was very gracious & promised to follow up on the items.

We loved the open concept of the living area with the outdoor area. Everyone enjoyed the pool/hot tub everyday. Would have like a little more lighting, but as we were in and out it was not a major problem. Ron was very welcoming at check-in and responded to any questions or concerns we had.

Our extended family, kids & adults, had a great time. The home has a nice pool, lots of outdoor seating, plenty of pool and beach towels and some pool toys for the kids. Short walk or drive to the Beach Club, good snorkeling and a good restaurant. The home had coffee and lots of cooking amenities all stocked, no need to buy the necessary seasonings to make cooking easier, it’s all at the house. Will be back if visiting the area again, vey comfortable and peaceful VRBO!

Communication was great with the owner and property manager. They were very accommodating and Ron was welcoming and friendly. The house was great with lots of room to fit my family while on a short vacation. It was a beautiful, relaxing vacation. The house was well stocked/equipped with everything we needed.

great value for the price ... plenty of space indoors and out, the pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all the house was well stocked with cooking & dining ware and with towels some furnishings were dated and at least one mattresses needs to be replaced the Property Manager was helpful as we planned our stay and was available, although not needed much overall, our stay was enjoyable and the group felt the house is a great value ... we would consider booking again

This was our first time back to the Big Island since COVID and what an amazing property!! Everything was as described and we couldn’t of asked for a better vacation spot. Thank you Ron for all of your great suggestions of places to eat! The check in process was easy and the house met all of our requirements. Enjoyed our time there very much and we will be back again next summer. Mahalo to all!!

My husband and two children and sister, niece and nephew stayed at the house for our vacation. We loved the location as we could walk to the beach. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We loved the pool and the view out the back of the golf course. The master bedroom is amazing. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The property manager, Ron, was great and made sure everything was good for us. We loved our stay here.

The house was fabulous. We came for the 70.3 race and the house was right on the course so we got to see our family as we went by! It was so nice that each room had its own bathroom too because we were all adults on this trip.

We really liked the location and the pool was great.

Trip could not have gone better, great communication from the hosts and a beautiful house to entertain in.

Great time. Everyone had their own bed and bath. Pool was awesome. View of golf course was great and didn’t get any golf balls in the back yard.
