Lovely apartment for our family, nice space, nicely furnished. Apart from those things that can be fixed the house is great. Sauna was good.

Just a couple of things that could have been done better. The wrong beds were made up when we arrived. We have two adult children and a bed in each room should have been made up rather than two beds in one room. Couple of things missing from the kitchen (a good strainer for pasta, grater). There were no instructions for the dishwasher and we had difficulty working it out. Some simple instructions would have been helpful. We managed to work out the stove top but instructions for this also would have been helpful. Also the dishwasher was full when we arrived from the last people staying (clean but full). The main bedroom needs some bedside tables (not sure about the other rooms) and also some soft lighting would be good....it was either the very strong overhead lights or nothing in the main bedroom. We couldn't use the fireplace without getting the owner around to show us how, so we didn't bother, which was a shame. When staying in a nice place in the snow having the fire going is part of the experience.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and we loved the sauna

i didn’t expect to make up the beds. Was easily done though, could use more pillows. We requested the free pick up service from the train station, but we had to pay for a taxi instead which was disappointing.

The host met us to show us the door access code & provide details about the sauna, and property generally. He also mapped out the location of activities nearby. He was so warm & welcoming and assured us of his accessibility/availability should we need anything during our stay. The street the property is on is a lovely rural setting yet close to Santa Zvlais Village etc, the city and the airport. It was covered in a blanket of snow while we were there so our children had a marvelous time on sledges the host provides for duration of stay & just generally playing in the snow! The property itself is really well kitted out for a family/group stay & there is lots of space with fantastic picture windows. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here!

It was like our home away from home. Close to everyplace you would like to visit.

Everything was super. Clean, comfortabel and all was there what we needed. Location was also super. Everything was close bye. Also owner was super nice and friendly.

The location, cleanliness and facilities, all of them were perfect. one of the best places that I stayed till now.

Beautiful house with amazing sauna, cozy, comfortable, calm. But the most amazing is the host, who was very helpful and hospitable. My children still remember that short stay - how nice the house was and how we enjoyed the sauna in the evening. The house is not in the city, so you might need a car or a taxi. We were aware of that and were ready to use the taxi, however I would strongly recommend to rent a car if you arrive without it.

Paulus is an amazing host. He went out of the way to pick up and drop off our luggage at the railway station. He also drop us off at Santa Village and the supermarket as we did not have a car. He is fast in replying to our queries via emails or text messages. His house is clean, spacious and well equipped. We had great fun cooking and chilling in the sauna. We had an amazing time in the lapland, all thanks to Paulus. Highly recommended.

Place was spotlessly clean. The facilities were great. I loved the sauna.

A lovely house in an amazing place!

Lovely and comfortable house, very well furnished and equiped. Less than 10min away from the airport, supermarkets and Santa stuff (and possibly the city center but we haven’t tried). Baby bed and chair were available, as well as snow sledges. We stayed only 1 night but could have enjoyed more!

Large, spacious property with good facilities. Great location for Santa Village, Rovaniemi, Ounasvaara & all other attractions for families! Great host, Paulus helped us before the holiday with questions. During the holiday and if we couldn’t work anything he would visit to show us. Sauna was a bonus, it’s a great place!

Host attention and hospitality has been great. He goes the extra mile to help you, to fulfill your needs and to adapt to your travel needs. The house is great, and the sauna with the snow outside a bonus!

The kitchen was not so clean.

This is one of the best place that we have stayed so far for the last couple of years traveling. The place is perfect, sparkle clean, modern design, with lots of glass wall. Nice lighting controls. Private shaded parking. Within short driving distance to Santa Clause Village. The surroundings is very safe and quite. The place is spacious and complete with amenities. It is attention to details that amazed us such as extra paper towels and laundry detergent. The kitchen utensils is complete. There is bicycle, slide that we could use for free. Paulus even come to the place everyday unnoticed to clear up the snow. Toilet with a bidet is a big help for us.
