Lovely hotel in a wonderful position right on the lake. Very good breakfast!

The view from the hotel is absolutely exceptional! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Also great to use the bikes on campus to get into the city. The breakfast and dinner were also amazing! Highly recommend dinner at the hotel (affordable, delicious). Spa/sauna was also a great perk!

Rooms did not have individual irons or kettles, but there is a shared iron and the staff was always willing to provide any hot water/tea/coffee in the bar area.

Amazing breakfast, especially for a 3-star hotel. Basically, I would describe it as a really really good three star hotel with quirky design. Good size rooms. Bidet. All quite new and well upkept. Great size shower and bathroom in general. Good location but the only downside is that you cannot drive-up to the hotel as it is in a pedestrian zone.

Room needs a better hair dryer especially for the ladies.

Super-friendly family-owned. You feel welcome and thought of the minute you walk through the door. The breakfast is different than hotel-chains, because it is limited - but the choice of delicious fresh breads, great coffee and amazing service is so good. Location was prefect. Hotel view and hotel breakfast was lovely. Staff at reception were always friendly and nice.

Aircon was rubbish! Few annoying things with the room. Staff at the evening restaurant were not great, we were completely forgotten.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. First of all, its location is great! The hotel is situated in the beautiful town of Salo, which, other than many other places at lake Garda, is not overrun by tourists. The hotel is right at the lakefront. The breakfast is awesome and the personnel is very attentive and kind. One of the nights of our visit, there was great live music in the hotel restaurant. Our room had a very good size and was very nicely decorated and clean. We were also able to take our dog with us at no extra cost. There are a few parking options close to the hotel. We chose to park at the free parking, which is approx. 1 km away.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. It’s pretty loud in the rooms even with the windows closed - the insulation isn’t great. We found the pillows to be rather uncomfortable too, but this is probably a personal issue. In any case, we would book again!

Staff were really nice and helpful, the rooms were light and airy and the breakfast was amazing with a beautiful view of the lake.

There were people smoking on either balcony next to our rooms, and the doors weren’t fully sealed so the smell of strong cigarette smoke would come through to the room while we were in bed which wasn’t great - an easy fix though. If they fixed this, I would 100% stay again.

Staff excellent, breakfast excellent, location perfect, would recommend to anyone wanting family run hotel with staff that go extra “mile”

Absolutely fantastic family run feel hotel with a edgy design feel! Fantastic location, restaurant and all round service and experience. We were just here for 1 night although instantly wished it was longer! Thank you for the team for making us feel so welcome!

Our stay could have been longer!

The food at the restaurant was absolutely spectacular. We managed to get a booking for dinner and every single dish was plated perfectly and tasted even better. The location of the hotel was right on the promenade and our lake view room was great; we loved sitting by the window. The croissants at breakfast were amazing. The shower in the bathroom had really cool lights.

There were very few staff at the hotel, so the check-in process (scanning passports) was not completed until the day we checked out. The breakfast spread was not too big. We had a few problems with the air-conditioning on the second night and the light in the room was a bit dim.

Very nice charming hotel direct on the lake. Family owned and well driven by them. Perfect Breakfast and the bed was amazing.

Nothing at all

The hotel is in a most beautiful location in Salò, right on the lake. Breakfast on the terrace is amazing and the choice is very good, with eggs done to your liking when you order. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, it was the festival 'Giardini del Garda' and we could not get parked in the nearby recommended car park. I contacted the hotel and was directed to another car park slightly further away. As the hotel is in a pedestrianised area, we had to walk with baggage through the streets to the hotel. When we arrived, we were upgraded to a room with a view of the lake. The next day, our electronic key wouldn't work, and we're told it was an electrical fault. We were away for the day and when we returned, we were offered yet another upgrade to a larger room with a balcony overlooking Lake Garda. Nothing seemed to be a problem. A great place to stay, perfect location, clean and lovely staff. Thoroughly recommend if you are planning a break or a holiday in Salò.

It's only a personal detail, but the pillows seemed very firm and heavy. This may be to others' liking and, as I said, it's just a personal detail.

Very well located and very clean and comfortable. Owners were so friendly and restaurant was one of the best in Salo. It was so good that we ate there both nights. No living room area but that was ok. Charming inside and outside dining areas right on the lake and in area of many shops.

You must pay for parking in a public garage but not too far away.

The property is very central. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. Everything is so fresh and lots of variety. We also had dinner here one evening,which we would highly recommend. Book early though as it’s popular. We plan on staying here again next time we are in Salò.
