Location is excellent interior is good

prices are exorbitant, far to high for the quality offered. Restaurant, the quality of the food was under all expectations and price wise really a bad performance. All service provided cost money, even normal services usually provided in upscale hotels. This Hotel is by international standards not a luxury 5 star hotel. The prices however are above those standards.

Views, views, views and once again views from the reception to the harbour, from our rooms to the harbour. Excellent. So were the rooms, services, breakfasts. We stayed 2 overnights. We loved the hotel and of course, Hvar town. We'll be back,

the view and the elegance of the place was unmatched.

In the year 2000 („Millennial“) we were one of the very first customers staying in this lovely renovated hotel. And since this time we are coming back again and again. It is a truly special hotel. One of our favorite hotels in Europe.

we had a wonderful stay! the staff was amazing and so thoughtful (it was my birthday and they surprise me with a piece of cake and a candle in the morning:), the breakfast is unforgettable, hotel and location are just amazing. i cannot recommend it more

Marija and the entire team were just the best!

From the start the welcome and greeting on arrival was personal, genuine and excellent. the hotel is in excellent condition. the breakfasts were excellent but the breakfasts on Christmas Day and Boxing day… Mamma Mia, I could not leave. just love pomegranate in champagne and serviettes folded like little Christmas trees. And the location is just unbeatable.

All the staff was very kind and they paid attenction to every our requests. I think the best hotel in that area, The restaurant was gorgeous and the spa was the top.

This was our first visit to this property and it was fabulous. The rooms were lovely and the bathroom spacious. Everything was impeccably clean and the staff was outstanding! We hope to return in the future and would definitely stay here again!

Overall we had an excellent time in this hotel. Without exception, the staff we dealt with was very competent and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially front of house. The location is right in the centre of Opatija so you can access local amenities and transport links very easily. The hotel mostly faces the sea and the lovely main promenade. Has a pretty breakfast room. Lovely Viennese style cafe attached to the hotel with excellent cakes!

Being central means it’s also by the noisy main road. Too many non-hotel customers using the main cafe and taking up the nice seats. Plastic flowers outside front of - and in the hotel reception - making it look cheap. Dated decor in reception. Laundry service took 2 days. Curtains in room were shabby. No-one serving at the hotel bar during the daytime, so we struggled to get a drink when stuck indoors on a rainy day. Swimming pool area needs some tlc. On busy days not enough waiting staff at breakfast. TV in room only offered limited analogue channels and none in English and no films, so if it’s raining you can’t even relax and watch a film.

classic, clean, beautiful, great location, pool, sun deck, loved the patio seating, great octopus salad, parking on premises, walking distance to shopping and restaurants, great views, I could go on and on!

I can’t think of anything! and I’m usually pretty critical!🤣
