The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 6 (2 parents, 2 grandparents, and 2 children aged 7 and 9). We especially loved the swing set and back porch. The location was great as well. Easy 15 min walk to town and on the bike path to Cisco Brewers and Bartlett’s Farm.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was absolutely beautiful, and our girls very much enjoyed the backyard with swing set. Lori was an incredible host, and often got back to me within minutes of any question asked. 5 star house, 5 star host, highly recommend!

Wonderful house close to everything- easy walk to town ( 12 minutes) and easy bike to Cisco Brewery and Bartlett Farms. Spacious house with bathrooms for every bedroom AND a powder room! Owner was extremely communicative and easy to work with. Huge yard. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

What a great property!! We booked for 7 people and we were very comfortable. The place was very clean, bedrooms were a good size, and the bathroom space was great. It was a nice bonus that we didn’t have to bring our own sheets and towels, too!!

Beautiful Place to Celebrate a Birthday
The house is larger than the picture’s suggest, beautifully appointed, super clean, with great appliances. the 8 of us were very comfortable and enjoyed stargazing at night and watching the rabbits and deer in the morning from the back deck. we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Fantastic Stay
My family and I have been coming to Nantucket for more than 25 years and this was one of the nicest and most comfortable stays we've had. The house was spotless, well-equipped and in a great location. There was nice outdoor space that's good for small kids. Lori was very responsive, kind and helpful with any questions we had. We had a wonderful vacation!

We had such a great long weekend at this house! It was spotless and so comfortable. We loved the big, bright kitchen and the peaceful outdoor patio. Perfect spot for a Nantucket girls trip.

What a perfect vacation home
This property checked all the boxes for our family trip. Our kids loved the swing set and sandbox, and toys that were in the house (discovering them in the master closet was a fun surprise!). The kids room with bunk beds and pull out third bed was exactly what we needed. The house has everything you’d need to buy groceries and cook all week, or just make coffee and have snacks while exploring the island’s restaurants. It was comfy and clean, could not recommend it more.
One note for families - we have 3 kids: 7, 5, 3, and decided to not bring our car to the island. It’s pretty tough to get a cab besides downtown, so be prepared to take the island’s shuttles, walk, or rent/bring bikes. The house is 5-10 min walks to two different shuttle routes (one downtown, one to the western part of the island (madaket)) and a really pleasant downhill walk to town, which takes about 20 minutes. Not bringing a car was actually a blessing because we got to experience all of that.

Family Kite Board Weekend
I travelled to Nantucket with three of my sons and a girlfriend to improve our kiteboarding prowess and had a fabulous stay. The entire process was seamless with great communication with the owner and easy check in and out. The house was amazingly clean and welcoming and we were able to ride our bikes to every beach on the island from the location, as well as walk into town for dinner and shipping. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and WFH was easy for all of us from various locations around the house. We will be back for sure! A treasure!

Amazing Christmas Stroll Stay
We stayed here for Christmas Stroll this year(2019) and had amazing and relaxing weekend. It was my husband and I and our two small children. The house is a great layout for families with the master and kids bedroom both being upstairs and both having en-suite bathrooms. My kids also loved the swing set in the backyard. Lori was so amazing to work with, answering any and all of my questions so quickly.
The house is fully stocked with anything you may need for a stay there. We absolutely loved our time and will definitely be back.

Beautiful house, loved our stay!
I rented this house with a small group of young adult women. We absolutely loved the house and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this property... It is the perfect distance from town, as it is a short 5 minute ride or 15 minute walk. We enjoyed the deck, large yard,, big kitchen, and living area for gathering. Lori was very nice and easy to work with and we hope we can come back some day!

Everything was clean and well-equipped. It was a 15 minute walk to Nantucket town yet the locale of the home was very quiet and peaceful. Travel to most of the islands beaches would require a bike or car.

Wonderful house, great outdoor space and location!
We loved this house! I stayed with my husband and 2 kids-6 and 3. We spent most of our time outside. Great backyard-my 3 year old loved the swings. Best outdoor shower! Very easy walk to town and also right on the bike path for a nice morning run. We loved it and would love to stay again!

Beautiful location - a walking distance to town!
This house exceeded my expectations! A walking distance from town but away from it all at the same time. Beautiful home and equally beautiful and spacious back yard. Lori was available during our stay for both questions and suggestions - the ultimate host. I recommend this house to anyone visiting Nantucket! The location and property will be hard to beat and I hope to return next year!

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect host
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Lori's house. The house is a walkable distance from downtown and an easy bike ride to Cisco Brewery. The shed in the back has everything you would need for a beach day (chairs/coolor/beach toys) and has plenty to toys/sports items for kids. The backyard and front yard have plenty of space for the kids to run around. Lori was very responsive to inquiries and was a pleasure to work with. When we return to Nantucket, I'm not sure that we would want to stay anywhere else. Special thanks to Lori for sending my 8 year old's shirts to us.

Charming New England House
Well how does one summarize perfection????? I will attempt-location location, lovely amenities, comfy bed, cook's kitchen, inviting outdoor spaces, and a scrabble board for a rainy day. Close enough to stroll to town and lovely walks in both directions and yet quite at night. We will return as will our friends from Boston and Ct. The owner is friendly and easy to work with it.

Lovely house, perfect distance to Town.
Great for 2 families with kids. Excellent layout in living room, kitchen, dining room area for family fun with a nice yard for the kids to run around in. Perfect distance from Town - easily walkable to Town but not so close as to be in the middle of a bunch of traffic and late night noise. Very well kept up and clean. We would definitely book there again. The Owner was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had.

Excellent location close to the center of town, charming grounds and home.
We had an excellent experience - from prior to arriving to after we left. My husband and I stayed at Lori's home for the Wine and Food Fest weekend with another couple that had flown in from out of town and it was perfect. The open concept downstairs was great for sharing breakfast on Saturday morning. I liked that there were two "master" bedrooms with attached bathrooms - one upstairs and one downstairs - so we never felt "on top" of one another during our stay. Had the weather been a little more accomodating, I would have loved to relax in their charming backyard - but it was nice to look down at it from the second floor. Once we left, I had discovered that I had accidentally left some of my favorite articles of clothing behind and Lori responded immediately with a picture of the clothes to ensure they were mine, had them secured, and coordinated handing them off to a family member on the island to get them back to me. We had a wonderful stay on Nantucket.

Perfect Vavation Home
This pretty home is perfdect for an extended family of grandparents, parents and grandchildren. Being on the bike path to Cisco Beach made it a short bike ride for surfing and beach fun. Walking to the town is 1.4 miles to shops and restaurants. The owners were friendly and quickly answered our questions. Our favorite restaurants were Black Eyed Susans and The Brotherhood.Be sure to go to the Nantucket Whaling Museum and The Lifesaving Museum. The property was bright and spotless with Everything you need for a perfect vacation.

Great location and well kept house
We have been renting this home every summer for 12 years and love it. It is within walking distance to downtown and conveniently located to the beaches. The home is clean, well kept, and has a spacious yard. The owners provide beach chairs and toys, towels, and all the cooking supplies you would need for evenings in or a lobster boil. The owners are very easy to work with and have always been responsive to our needs or repairs. After all these years, we could have rented any other house on the island but continue to come back to the Milk Street home that has everything we need to make our trip fun and successful. Make sure to visit Black Eyed Susan's, Downey Flake, and Nantucket Lobster Trap for great casual meals out! Stop in for a cold beer and live entertainment at Cisco Brewery after a day on the beach before heading to Bartlett Farm to pick up fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, and gourmet foods for dinner.

Relaxing Vacation
We recently stayed at this lovely home and even though the weather was less than spectacular we enjoyed every second. The home was well appointed, it was especially nice to have a private bath for each bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was lovely having our morning coffee on the upstairs balcony. The film festival was excellent his year. As always we went to our favorite restaurant, Black Eyed Susan's. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends.n As stated it was an easy walk to town.
