Absolutely nothing

Beautiful view, helpful staff
Food wasn’t the best, it was very expensive for what was on offer.
Shuttle bus to pozzuoli didn’t work too well. So had to use expensive taxis. Therefore only went out one night which was very disappointing
4.0
The pool, the staff and the breathtaking view!

We loved the pool and the breakfast buffet. The mini fridge was well stocked although expensive. A signora helped us to our room.
It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown Naples. Luckily we discovered a popular pizzeria down the road called Ammaccam.
After a long day of travel and checking in at 4:00pm we were disappointed to discover that the pool closed at 7:00pm. That is early even compared to US standards.
I wish you could park closer or they had a bellman to help with luggage. It was a far walk from our room to the car with heavy bags.

nice pool, free shuttle service to the center or train station of Pozzuoli, great breakfast
not the hotel's fault, but the Flegrei fields close to the hotel are no longer open for the public after some accidents.
2.5
Nice view
Cold atmosphere, breakfast was not good, constant smell of sewage outdoors - not possible to stay outside
3.0
The pool, the breakfast, the cleanliness.
Noise every night until midnight (!) due to weddings, engagements or birthday events.

The position is outstanding with fabulous views across to Procido and Ischia. Access is up a long, long hill so you need either a car or taxi unless you love steep hills! The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the train station in Pozzuoli for Naples (30mins on train) or onto Sorrento/Pompei etc. Rooms were good, plenty of storage. Balcony and view a real plus. Guests need to be aware that the hotel is a perfect place for birthday parties etc so you can find that each night there is something going on. We had two events but we weren’t in any way affected. Some music of course but not a problem for us. It is also a venue for conferences during the day. Again, no problem to us as we were out doing tourist things! Gli Dei is a very large, expansive and modern hotel so it’s easy to find seats in the shade or in the sun. We can recommend the hotel. The food was very good (we ate in the hotel one night) and breakfast provided a range of options including scrambled egg and bacon.
Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Giuseppe was especially a great help. Some of the serving staff were a little abrupt and “distant”. Whether this is training and policy we didn’t know as other staff were very nice and made us feel welcome. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.
Not a dislike. An observation. The pool wasn’t available to us due to conference events and there were no sun beds etc around the pool for relaxing. The pool was a definite plus when we booked so we were a little disappointed we couldn’t use it.

View from the terrace.
When I checked out, I forgot my mobilephone charger in the hotel room. The same evening I sent an E-mail message to hotels and Mrs Anna Porreca immediately confirmed that chambermaid found it and asked me for my address to send it back to me. I gave her my home address and asked about how high the shipping costs could be, but she did not reply anymore and I did not get the charger. Few days later I sent a reminder and got a message from another person, Mr Giuseppe Palmiero, who asked me to confirm that my charger is black Samsung and told me that shipping costs are 40 EUR, what is ridiculous high. I replied that its strange that he speaks about black Samsung because my charger is white iPhone one, and then he told me that he will double check and inform me next morning. Now, 7 days later I did not get information, inspite of several reminders. It is obvious that they have no intention to send me my forgotten property and I found this extreemly unprofessional.

Horrible hotel. They asked us to check out at 7.30 am. Unpleasant reception, not collaborative. One of worst hotel I have even been.

We were here for one night and got a ver spacious apartment. We appreciated the shuttle to the metro station, the view was exceptional. everyone from the staff were very nice, especially at the breakfast. We would appreciate some vegetables at the breakfast but overall we really enjoyed our stay! Also there is a lovely cat at rhe reception.
all the facilities vere obviously a little older, but everything functioned as it should and it’s reflected in the price.

the view is amazing. i loved having a balcony off my room. the staff to help check in and out was friendly
it’s a little worn down. the room was clean but the worn down ness especially in the bathroom made it seem dirtier. the bed was very hard, although I suppose that is typical for Italian hotel beds.

Excellent view, friendly, informative and helpful staff. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Strange smell in the surrounding area?

The pool, the view, the staff and the free shuttle to and from town or the metro are excellent.
The breakfast was ok but needs review.

Beautiful view, lovely pool and very good breakfast. Staff very attentive. Very clean.
Location at the top of a very big hill and shuttle times were impractical for going out in the evening or going on a trip in the morning. The shuttle only operates between 9am and 8pm. Italian restaurants open at around 7.30pm. We ordered Uber as the hotel food and drinks were very expensive which was a cheek as they know you are trapped there without a taxi from 8pm onwards. They would make more money if they increased the variety of the food and reduced the prices. Swimming pool is lovely but swim hats must be worn by all. We were a family of 5 staying in a family room, the room was big but fold out beds uncomfortable. Also only 2 small free bottles of water per day. 4 euro for a can of cola. More for adults than kids.

The view was good
It was very far from Naples (just be aware when booking), my room had a treadmill in it for some reason (maybe being used as a store room), very far away from restaurants and they don't start to serve food until 7:30pm (so don't arrive anytime after 3pm as you will not be able to eat). Only had a set menu for dinner so you basically were restricted on what you could get. The pool was closed because of winds (it was not that windy). I ended up checking in at 3pm and checking out by 4:30pm to move to a b&b in town (charged the full night's stay). Also, this is not a 4* hotel they have very limited services. I have no doubt that this is a good wedding or conference venue. Just not for a couple.

Great views over the bay, lovely balcony.Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of foods.Train station to Naples and supermarket are 15 mins walk.
The hotel is up on a steep hill, walking to the town and back is a challenge. The jacuzzi bath worked ok,but black mould came out of the jets.
