Lovely hotel in a lovely building. They accommodated us checking in early and gave us a coffee on arrival. Room very large with high ceilings so was a little cold at times, (it was November) but overall very comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and location perfect for exploring the little lanes. Had a lovely 2 nights.

The location was excellent. Just down a small road minutes away from all the action meant it was very close but also very quiet. We drove and parked in the hotel car park just outside the city walls, which was also only 6 minutes walk, incredibly convenient as we were using the car frequently during our stay. We used the free hotel shuttle service and the start and end of the trip for our luggage which was a great addition. The staff were polite, helpful and gave us free bottles of water upon request. Breakfast was great, and there was a good selection of continental foods. Two beautiful terraces to have a nice evening drink on also. The room was large and the aircon was excellent. The whole building was very beautiful.

It was slightly misleading as to which room we would be staying in. I booked the deluxe double as the description makes it sound like there is only one- the previous owners house. In fact there are three, which are pictured but not described. We did not stay in the one described, but I was very satisfied with the room I was in and it featured all deluxe features.

Location, staff, overall Hotel experience. parking was easy. staff extremely helpful with parking access and recommendations. Room was comfortable and unique. Accommodations were clean. Breakfast was very good.

Difficult to access with suitcases as it is in a restricted area - which we did not realize - and drove into to drop off our bags.

This hotel was outstanding. Our expectations were exceeded. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was extremely clean and spacious. Would absolutely stay here again.

This is a very central hotel with great staff who were very helpful. There is parking offsite but only 7 Euros a day and the hotel will pick you up/drive you there. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Their restaurant recommendation was amazing.

The room was sparsely furnished and seemed a bit "cold". The lift/elevator was broken.

Location was excellent & 1 min walk to the city centre. All the staff are hospitable & very helpful and attentive. Despite the language barrier, they accommodated our every request. Highly recommend the hotel.

Slight oversight of Lack of tourist information in terms of leaflets & maps etc but easily remedied.

There was a lot of choice at the breakfast with very nice authentic Italian food. The room was beautiful with a large and modern bathroom. The building itself is historic and located in the very old part of the city close to the sights, various good restaurants and the main square. If your room is on the top floor, you have a nice view over the city.

Everything was fine. However as the hotel is in the very old part of the city (with very narrow streets), you cannot park your car outside the hotel. One option is to park your car in a paid carpark.
