Beautiful room no4 a little noisy from the bar underneath ( sat eve ) but soon dropped off to sleep we had breakfast included and had a varied choice on the menu

Great breakfast, lovely coffee. We used the charger for our car as well. Great staff, the barmen were very professional and know how to make the perfect cocktail. Fabulous atmosphere and we will definitely be back!

When I walked into my room, I gasped with pleasure. The room's décor was hip and funky and all of the linens were of great quality. The room was large and airy. The bathtub was big and had great water pressure. I could not have been more pleased. I ate in the dining room for breakfast every day, and the food was delicious and well prepared. The real treat was the Sunday Roast; because I'm a vegetarian, I ordered the Vegetarian Wellington with roasted vegetables. It was perfectly prepared with a lovely flakey crust, just sublime! I will definitely stay here in the future if I am ever lucky enough to return to beautiful Hathersage!

Clean, good tea and coffee in room. Decent sized comfortable rooms. Pleasant bar and dining area. Good quality breakfast with sufficient choice. Excellent pizzas.
Long wait for breakfast despite dining room not being full. Not a huge problem as we weren't in a hurry.

No hot chocolate option in room, food good but over priced & small portions, especially Sartre & desert. After a long walk , you need a hearty meal , not gastro city food. Desert choice very poor indeed

Parking for residents rooms could be allocated as the carpark was full and lots of people trying to park. Managed to squeeze in a corner space.

food is a bit overpriced for our evening meal, the quality didn’t match the cost. My stir fry had no vegetables in, just a lonely strand of carrot. However the breakfast was really nice

We choose this hotel because of their gluten free options and the fact that they have gluten free lager on tap, which is a rarity. Husband is coeliac, so this is a real treat. The hotel is lovely and comfortable.
I personally find the hotel overly warm, I accept that other people would love this, we just turned the radiator off in the room and had windows opened. It is a little noisy, was surprised at the amount of traffic going through Hathersage overnight and seemingly at speed, I am a light sleeper , but that’s just me, doesn’t put me off staying.

asked for eggs over easy and they were So over cooked and hard . bacon like cardboard
pizza was okay but salad was drown in balsamic,totally uneatable . I did mention to staff .who apologised.

Wow.. The hotel was impressive lovely decor bedroom was large & very comfortable. Never stayed in Hathersage before but can't wait to return.
Breakfast was delicious nice choice definitely enough variety for everyone.

Love this place and rooms updated since our last visit, tasteful and very comfy. The staff were most helpful in reserving a table for drinks prior to our restaurant booking. Breakfast was excellent.
Lovely hotel, beautifully dressed from Christmas and attentive and courteous staff.
Our only issue was that in the restaurant the staff were so busy that it all felt a little disjointed, however the staff were fab and coped well but we did have some waiting time. That said we had a late table as we forgot to reserve at time of booking the room so may have added to this! Not a complaint, just an observation.

Lovely hotel, really great staff at dinner and bent over backwards to welcome us.
The breakfast staff however were rude and very very slow. The room was decorated beautifully and very clear, the family room was a great size but the Main bed was the worst thing I have ever slept on. This would definitely stop me staying again.
