Great location right in the centre of Banbury.
Lovely hotel, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room was fine, clean and comfy. We went for the breakfast, both had the full English, no
complaints.
Would stay at this hotel again.
The only gripe that we had, and it’s probably really silly, the duvet was a winter one and it was just too hot. The bed was a bit small, (very comfy though) but we’re used to a King size bed, just a personal preference.

The room was newly decorated to a high standard, very comfy bed,and clean.
The shower door didn't open fully as the bathroom was so small the shower door hit the sink, shower needs a thorough clean grubby in the bottom corners.
No cold water in sink or shower, which i needed for my dog and the shower is old quite awkward to use, it only trickled out when trying for hot water to get to correct temperature.
It was sooo noisy, the room was at the front of the hotel right on the main road, I thought after 11pm the traffic would ease up. But if did not I had a very early start thd next day I managed to get 1 hours sleep. Very expensive for the size of the room and the noise.

Hotel close to restaurants and city center but my room had nothing to do with the ones shared in the pictures. Breakfast is good and nicely served, bed are comfortable.

The rooms were cold as was my coffee I ordered which had to be sent back.

Friendly, helpful management. Great location. comfortable room.
There are Do Not Disturb signs but nowhere to hang them on the door so housekeeping knocks anyway. The lamps above the beds cause bashed heads!

Lovely central location, perfect for shops, bars and restaurants.
I know it was a bittelry cold weekend but having a glass front door that was always left open and had gaps around it made the hotel cold. Breakfast on day one was very long in coming and the room was cold

Loved the fact you ordered breakfast and didn't have food kept under a hot lamp. Staff are great and friendly. Rooms yes old, it's an old building, but they are very clean, and functional.
This isn't the hotels fault as we didn't ask, the front rooms you get the road noise and we come from the middle of Wales where we might get a passing tractor, I'm sure if we had asked they would have moved us.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful, the room was a decent size, the bed was enormous and very comfy. All of the staff were very friendly and fun. We used the restaurant one evening and the home made pies were fantastic.
The only minus was traffic noise at the front of the property, where our rooms were, but that's not their fault as it's the main road through the town and the secondary glazing reduced it if you didn't need the window open. There are bits and pieces of decor one could criticise, but it's a 3 star hotel not the Ritz and none of them affected the enjoyment of our stay.

Very comfortable bed and excellent room service
I do understand that getting staff is not easy. On Wednesday morning, service was v friendly and clearly working hard. On Thursday morning the member of staff seemed indifferent and long wait for cooked breakfast.

Was a lovely old building, nice garden & plenty of parking.
Could do with decorating, decor was a little tired & a lot of the woodwork was chipped.

The whole place needs repairing and decorating.
Windows need changing, fungus in the bath room and all the windows, carpet stuck together with tape ! Reception needs attention, all in all you need to spend £500,000 to bring it up to hygiene standers
