The staff were terrific, friendly and professional and accommodating. Room was nice and spacious with a lovely view.

The location is great! The Chinese restaurant on site is very good. And the staff is excellent.

The room was very stuffy. Fortunately there was a fan to blow the warm air around and be a good white noise for the noise of the kitchen nearby. The restaurant is very echoey due to no softening touches. I would’ve laid out two long decorative rugs and dialed down the elevator music a couple of notches to make the ambiance fit the beautiful setting.

Very tired decor - could have done with a deep clean ( eg cobwebs on ceiling -dust on light fittings and some furniture. Mouldy sealant around windows ) . Place needs re- painting

Location is great, just in the heart of Cobh. Only 400 meters to cruise terminal. Beautiful view.

It was a beautiful sunny day. We had a room for 3 adults and a child, and it’s was quite good but there was no air conditioning, only small ventilator. For 4 people in a room its hard without proper ventilation. After a day in Cork we have decided to have a dinner in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel. Honestly it was awful as I have never seen the food served in such a way. I attach photos. We asked a server (Chinese woman) if the shrimps are spicy and she said not at all but brought shrimps with hot red pepper for a child. And before placing the order we have asked if the appetiser “duck with vegetables” is too big as it says for two people and she said it’s a half of duck but brought a plate of diced dry meat, that didn’t look like half duck at all. The food was pretty expensive, only duck costed 26 euros and it’s for nothing. Overall the room was good and location is great but I advice to Not have your meal in the restaurant, as we had a pretty bad experience there.

Beautifully kept property, wonderful staff and location. Food and drink were better than I can express and the rooms were incredible, abundantly clean and tidy.

The bed was slightly firm for our liking, nothing else was bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Very basic room, not much character, it was a suite but really a bedroom.. window didn't give much light or view..The town of Cobh needs a few more restaurants and pubs, very run down and needs some attention, bit disappointing compared to other coastal towns.

The receptionists were friendly and when we arrived our suitcase was carried to the room. The bar staff were great and loved to chat. The Asian food in the restaurant was good. The junior suite was spacious with a great view of the cathedral, cork harbour and spike island. We enjoyed having a drink on the balcony with great views in the evenings. The lady serving breakfast on the Wednesday of our trip was friendly and ran the breakfast service efficiently

The only bit of our visit we weren't 100% happy with, was the breakfast service on the Monday and Tuesday mornings. Our hot food was brought out on both mornings before we had finished our cereal

The room size was brilliant. Loads of space. Room had a view of Cobh harbour which was lovely. Location just few mins walk from Cobh town is perfect.

Bed was a little hard and with no breakfast included, the price was a bit high

Very old room. No safe. Beds too hard. Poor breakfast service. Much too expensive.

The comforting of the bed.

The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my partner and Samuel arranged that for me before we arrived. He had been friendly and helpful, and catered to all our requests. We got an upgrade too and got a room at the top with sea view. The hotel had a bar which was really good and we spent a good bit of time over there as well. All local attractions were just 10 mins walk away.

The hotel was missing lift and it's challenging for older people to go up and down with their luggages. Also, found it slightly over priced. However, everything else was amazing and we really liked our stay.

Some building noise on the first morning which we were advised was related to a water leak.

Great location and views (we were fine with walking uphill which you need to take into account). Friendly and helpful staff, looked after bags last day. Nice bar with balcony. Quiet in the evenings. Would stay again.

Fantastic view, staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and chatty.

Only downside was the steep hill getting to the hotel, but that’s my own fault for not realising the location. And due to leaving so early I didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast.
