Die Nachhaltigkeit ist wirklich von vorne bis hinten durchgezogen. Keine Einwegverpackungen beim Frühstück, 1 Mülleimer im Bad (kein zusätzlicher im Zimmer). Die Lage ist großartig für gediegene Spazierwanderungen, es gibt glutenfreies Essen (inkl. Brot und optional zum Frühstück auch aufgebackene Brötchen von Schär). Sehr freundliches Personal. Wirklich sehr!

Puh. Das ist sehr hohes Niveau bzw. partiell sehr subjektiv. Mir persönlich war die Matratze zu weich und die Fliegengitter waren nicht zu 100% intakt. Die Duscharmatur war ungünstig positioniert und schwergängig. Hat mich jetzt aber nicht so massiv gestört.

At dinner, pasta from the children's menu turned out to be spicy. besides, I paid for two rooms at the price that was shown as two adults sharing a room with breakfast. but they forced me to pay the cost of breakfast in addition. When booking, only two guests are indicated. But the price, I emphasize once again, is for accommodation of two adults in a room with breakfast. and, as one of the adults, there was a 7-year-old child. I do not understand why this issue could not be resolved immediately. so I had to pay twice for breakfast :) it's not about money. I just don't understand why you can't check the price on the spot.

I loved that the breakfast tables were set and with individual coffee decanters. The breakfast was very good and the bacon was actually cooked crispy, American style. I liked sitting on the outside veranda. I didn't use the Spa but saw others coming from it and wished I had more time. I loved everything about the Schloss Hotel. I hiked the Devil's Wall and walked around the nice town. It is not far from the other cities and activities, like the Titan suspension bridge and Mega zipline. I enjoyed my time there very much...very relaxing and beautiful.

Friendly staff

The bath was slippery (anti slip mats not permissible due to hygiene reasons apparently) and there were no accessible showers - I was a bit worried for my elderly parents who were also visiting)
