It was so overpriced for a substandard room, but international staff was great. But I didn’t come for the staff. Location great for museums and restaurants

The tiny room had no closet, no bar soap, no tissue , no mini refrigerator. The tiny bed was too small and I’m short. The room faced the street and I could hear the tram and cars until 2:00am. I never slept. So so noisy Also, it was overpriced and had no amenities.

a very hard pillow, not possible to sleep. the room where breakfast is served is too small, a lady was asked by the staff to leave to free space for coming guest even though she has not finished her breakfast. quite rude actually

The location is perfect and easy to access by tram. It is quite close to the museums and has nice restaurants around it.

The room is very small, but considering the price it is definitely value for money. The shower is also very small.

Really friendly staff who went out of their way to help

Location was terrible. Rubbish all over the place around the hotel in the streets which was absolutely disgusting. No car parking and l paid a fortune to put my hire car in parking. Would not recommend.

All receiption staffs was very friendly with lovely smiles and supporting me all the time even with alot of my questions about best transport way to the places that I want to visit.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly. I could comfortably walk to the Concertgebouw and back wearing my heels.

The room was rather noisy and cramped and basic; the bed wasn't quite comfortable.

Warm and comfortable room, helpful staff. good location for visiting museums and walking to the canals. the local neighbourhood is lovely, though the hotel itself is right on a busy street.

There is no parking at this hotel despite what it says on booking.com! the only parking available is on-street or at private parking nearby. both are expensive, up to €50 per day. the hotel suggested we use the Olympisch P&R: this is 20 minutes walk away, was permanently full and it’s not possible to reserve a space. They weren’t able to make any other suggestions. Bathroom was very small and the faulty shower partition meant that water sprayed all over the floor.

The location is top notch! Staff is very friendly.

My room was in the hallway just inside the entrance to the hotel, wich meant I woke up every time someone entered the hotel. Was kept awake by people talking to the reception wich was just outside my room.

The price was a little high

The location for me was excellent right in the museum district. Also easy to access the tram system so handy to easily and cheaply get around Amsterdam. I found the rooms a little on the small side but that's expected in any major European city these days. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was using Amsterdam as a travel hub during a three week period with several bookings and I found the hotel ideal for my purposes.

During my various stays I experienced two different rooms at the hotel. One on the ground floor and a second on the third floor. Both were somewhat compact but comfortable and clean. The hotel fronts on to a busy street so can be a little noisy at times but nothing that disturbed my sleep.

very easy 2 minute walk to Van Gogh museum rooms really clean and they have me extra bed (small charge) rented bikes during stay for 24 hrs (also do hourly rate) breakfast - adequate continental

tea and coffee facilities in the room (this would just be something to consider)

Wonderfull breakfast, 200m from the Concertgebouw and Museumplein.

Our room was located under the roof and therefore very hot. It needs airco.

I wanted a hotel with parking as this was a rarity and this hotel had parking facility on booking.com but when we got there they said 'you have to find parking outside at 6 euros per hour or park an 8 min drive away'.Anyway we then went to the room and there was no air con facility and the beds were soft with single pillows that were half the size of a pillow. The facilities were clean eventhough I do belive our toilet was not that clean and breakfast was OK as the seating and deco was quite nice buy the breakie itself was all pre made except for the scrabled eggs. Staff were polite enough. Night shift young man was great though, full of smiles and helpful where as the guy when checking in was slow aswell as poor in communication.
