An diesem Ort ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. Aber auf eine positive Art und Weise. Blümchenvorhänge und pink/lila 80er Jahre Fliesen im Bad gehören nicht mehr unbedingt zu meinem Vielreisealltag. Wer das in Kauf nehmen kann, bekommt aber, was es bei großen Ketten schon lange nicht mehr gibt: persönlichen und herzlichen Service, ernst gemeinte Empfehlungen für die Stadt, und ein blitzsauberes Zimmer, in dem garantiert jedes Bettlaken und jedes Handtuch gewechselt wurde, da noch "selbst" geputzt wird. Die Straßenbahn Richtung Innenstadt hält quasi vor der Tür, zum Sport machen geht's hinterm Haus hoch in die Weinberge. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

The staff were exceptional. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was big, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was massive, with a tub and shower. Everything was very high quality and it was great value for money.

It would have been convenient to have rear access to the carpark, which would make it easier to take bags to the car. But really, I'm only writing this because there's a field to write it, it's a moot point, and not really so important.

Very nice, cozy hotel in quiet neighborhood, 54€ in early January. Staffer helped get luggage upstairs. Very good 7€/person breakfast. Pedestrian paths uphill in vineyards offer pleasant views. Parking lot.

Our specific attic-level room 411 had some deficiencies, all but one easily curable. One third of room has restricted height, meaning you want a short person on that side of bed. No refrigerator, no coffee, VERY sturdy furniture means shifting a chair a few inches makes enough noise to wake a sleeper, no receptacles at work table which could be fixed by supplying a plug strip.
